You need to spend more time with homeless people. What your "business" would end up doing is paying homeless people to go to some other garbage can and dump it into your bag (s) and taking it to collect their money. They wouldn't need to pick anything up off the street, and they're all about getting the money with the least amount of work done, just like anyone else is.

Nearly all "homelessness" is just a symptom of addiction (some is mental illness), and until addiction is addressed, addressing just the symptoms will do anything to SOLVE the problem. That would be like having hole in your tire, and your solution is to just stop every 5 minutes to pump it up. If you never address the root cause - the hole in the tire - you'll never get to go more than 5 minutes without having to stop to pump up the tire. The root cause of homelessness in the vast majority of cases is addiction.

A million dollars really isn't that much. Plenty of working class people who have saved all of their lives end up with a net worth of over $1M. To put this in context, $1M invested in bonds paying 3.5% yields only $35,000 of income, which is hardly a salary of the "wealthy elite".

I'm a simple person, don't take much to make me happy.. I'd pay off my debt, make sure my girls and grandson were taken care of, and the rest I'd use to help families with people with terminal illness or needing an organ transplant. My husband got 7 extra years with us because someone signed the back of their license as a donor... And I know how much of a strain that can put on people, financially as well as emotionally, there's people that wait along time for a transplant, some die without ever receiving one. My hubby was on dialysis 6 years before receiving a kidney transplant... But it would go directly to the families not charities... I could never thank the person that donated the kidney that gave me and my girls those extra years, because it wasn't a living donor. But it would be in her honor for the precious gift she gave me and my family...,🙏🏼🙏🏼

I would buy a mansion and a bunch of cute pets along with a used SUV mini van and I would hire somebody to help me locate the guy I used to flirt with cause we both like each other but I never got his phone number. Then I would marry him and have a wedding party in my backyard using cheap but tasty food like cabbage soup.

I would buy myself a home and invest in creating a new retreat like thing for the elderly so theyre all in one place with live in doctors/nurses with actives and a large communal space as care homes atm are not great it'll both be a business, something good for the community and investment into my future
