What do you think about British people?

I don‘t know any British people (only online or through movies and stuff) but I‘ve heard some stuff about them as that they‘re super arrogant and consider themselves as superior than anyone else. This completely changed my view on British people and I don‘t wanna make contact with any of them anymore or befriend any of them. I still tend to back away when I meet one in person or don’t contact them anymore after a meeting. I know many people from the USA and Canada and these are honestly the friendliest people I‘ve ever known.
I believe that every nation has its own special culture and that no one standa above someone else but to hear that from many British people... that‘s kind of diagusting. Now we know how they convinced other people of racism (one race better than other thing).

I met my Fiance on Here, dear. Yes, I thought He too was very Arrogant but a straight arrow. However, We have been Together for over Two years and Plan on Marrying and Yes, He still is Arrogant but Fun Loving too (Thanks to me) and very Honest and STILL a Straight Shooter. I have mostly positive experience.
The working class is a little rough, but is reliable and industrious. Just stay away when they decide to get drunk :)
Once they have a certain level of 'education' they are very pleasant to converse with.
Privately, I had met numerous British people who were all welcoming, supportive and -call it- ''world-conscious''.

I'm English. I've met folk from all over the world.

Some Brits are highly arrogant. I've met American snobs, humble French, humourous Germans, organised Italians, intelligent Irish, liberal Iranians... You get the idea.

There's always some who fit the stereotype.

There's usually more who don't fit.

I think we shouldn't classify all British people as arrogant. Of course, there probably are rude and arrogant people, but that's not exclusive to British people. Every race and country has "bad" people, so I wouldn't assume something about someone based on their ethnic/background. I know a few British people and they're pretty friendly and decent people.

It's just the same as other countries, there are good and bad people in every country. The more arrogant and rude Brits tend to live in South England. The more North you go, the friendlier the people usually are. I think you're abit close minded and need to figure it out for yourself rather than just accepting the stereotypes to be true.

Love the accent most are pretty cool I don’t like Jeremy Corbin given that he’s an anti-Semite I’ve met a few people from Britten and Scotland and Ireland all are really nice people. I will say having to give a presentation after British girl sucks because she’s got this really calm Beautiful voice and I am an American dude who doesn’t sound as good.

I agree with you British people are arrogant in my experience. They always think they’re better than Americans no matter what I find it very rude. I’m an American but not white just like you are a German but not ethnically German. We are both in disadvantaged places in a way so dealing with arrogant snobbish people like the Englishbis the worst.

The Brits I've met have been great people. I'm actually half decent friends/acquaintances on instagram with a British-Indian stripper named Nikki. I find British women to be more lively and entertaining than American women.

British people are more civilised than most people I know and their sense of humour is generally darker than most. by the way I am an American who grew up in the UK.
