Politicians rarely think the rules apply to them. True. But I guess it comes down who’s got the better ideas to make Covid go away.
The answer is neither one of them. Covid is here to stay it’s going to be like the seasonal flu. It will hit the south in the summer and north in the winter. Why because of heating and Air conditioning. I remember going down to California and everyone looking at me like I’m nuts for swimming in the swimming pool at the hotel when it’s 72° out I’m from Washington it’s December it’s 28° In Washington it’s hot when it’s 72
The flu doesn’t stop the economy in its tracks. I’d support a lockdown if it breaks this business purgatory.
It would brake this business purgatory, but another lock down would bake the United States. Not just financially but spiritually and the last semblance of hope we have as Americans. What we need to realize as a country if we are to stay unified as a country is the idea of dont California my Texas or dont Texas my California. What I mean by that is let California do what it wants in California. If California want to have legal abortion let them if Texas wants to ban abortion let them. The federal government needs to step aside and let this happen. Currently we are being governed by an unelected bureaucracy who can do what they want and most of Democratic's. So when a republicans president is in office they go against his wishes and when a Democratic in charge they can comply. The only other branch of government that’s helps rules in the Supreme Court which can say no president you can’t do X or Y but they have no way of enforcing it. So the president does the unconditional thing anyway. Like the eviction moratoriums and this whole forcing business with over 100 people to get vaccinated or get tested or there going to have to fire there employees. For a business who doesn’t want to force there empty to get vaccinated this means death of the business. OSHA could basically get rid of any and all businesses that value freedom and individual choice. Yes we have freedom to not get vaccinated that’s what freedom means. And if we have reached the point where we can’t hold accountable unelected bureaucrats that only deal with Democrats want to do and never do what Republicans want to do then that will be the collapse of the United States.
To you maybe. Losing my business would break my spirit.
Exactly. Imagine you loosing your business for some stupid government fine or having to pay for every employee to get tested which isn’t cheep it’s about 200 per test 100 x 200 = 20,000 a week could your business a Ford that and that the minimum 100 employees imagine companies like Walmart or McDonald’s which employees millions of people
I would rather do that than keep this pandemic going.
Ok you can shut down your business if you want. Other people don’t want to loose there business but they also don’t want to force there employees to get vaccinated a lot of people rely on there business for income and can’t afford 20,000 a week to get people tested. You lock down again you will kill there business. Then what do they do? Rely on the government to give them money? That’s just more government control why would you trust any government with that level of power?

Shut whos power off? But frankly I’d rather have two weeks of complete lockdown than another 6 mos of whatever this is. It’s business purgatory and none of my clients are willing to spend money.
Trump lover says what?
Thanks for confirming I should feel bad they’ve made such a fool out of you.
The turnout was huge. Which is usual for non presidential years. People in Cali are for anti-pandemic policies.
Why would the turnout be huge for a non-presidential election during a pandemic? Wouldn't people who are worried about the virus stay home?
If they’re vaxxed and wearing masks there’s no real worry. Too bad the dumbest Americans aren’t doing any of that.
Then why are you so worried about the unvaccinated?
(Sigh) I’ve answered this question like 1500 times. Because it perpetuates the pandemic as well as this economic purgatory. You fcks are keeping my clients from spending money.
I am pretty sure that it is the government and the media perpetuating the pandemic. But sure blame a group of people who are skeptical about a vaccine that was rushed into production. Who have no problem with getting back to normal and spending money. If you are tired of economic purgatory you need to hold those responsible for it accountable and not those who are just as much of a victim of it as you are. As a society we are completely insane; we keep voting for the same people who created our problems and expect them to eventually fix it. Congressional approval ratings are at an all time low yet incumbent candidates still win overwhelmingly. Because everyone seems to think "well it isn't my guy". Until we stop this insanity we will continue to be serfs of our own government. When our country was designed for our government to be subservient to the citizenry. Stop listening to the government's justification for their totalitarian behavior, it is a distraction. Pitting us versus them is how dictators stay in power; as we are too busy fighting each other to realize that they are the ones making our lives miserable.
