You see your wife as a possession? That's bizarre. Anyway, you're 67, and if by now you haven't figured out the sublimely simple truth that material "possessions" don't bring happiness, then you never will. You've been fooled, conned into thinking that just by having more "stuff" you'll be happy, but it doesn't work that way. Besides, you're 67, so you're supposed to be a grumpy old man who tells children to get off his lawn, and reminisce about how much better things were back in the good ole days when the young uns didn't treat their elders with such disrespect. It comes with the territory, so to speak.
I think if you’re like me, as you grew up people influenced you to chase these “things” in life and they would bring you happiness. So you did. And succeeded but you’re living someone else’s dream. You need to step back and truly think about what has and could potentially make YOU. Happy. Not chase someone else’s goals. It’s tough but it Definitely helped me in my pursuit. are you working in a job you love? Not just one that brings wealth. are you enjoying your hobbies? Not just the ones people have told you are “fun”

What's lacking in your life? When you think about it, what is missing? Do you love your wife, and does she love you in return? do you feel you have a life purpose and do you value your job/profession? Without knowing much about you, I might guess you may be depressed.
Do you ever share this wealth with those in need? Maybe a little help would make you feel better spiritually? How should I know? For example, take care of stray animals. Help the elderly. Focus a little on spirituality, if you are full of materiality.

I feel you. Maybe at this age I see a lot of my friends who got older and got weak, a gut, and grumpy all the time. Possibly it is a lack of testosterone? Maybe go see a doctor, it could be physical. I also notice that nothing is as fun as it used to be. Example: If I had the car I have now at 20 years old i would be so excited I wouldn't sleep for a year. At this age I am almost aggravated because i feel like washing it frequently should be done and maybe it's not worth the trouble and i should get a basic used car. That's pretty fucked up

You are chasing happiness with external validation but it doesn't work like that.
You can find peace from within, that essentially a choice that you make but happiness would require a complete set of maslows hierachy of needs, it is likely that your life has no substance or meaning and as a result is unforfilling.

I think lacking a purpose. Ask yourself this: why are you alive?
I am a 20 year old guy who feels empty. I am born in a family where there is no financial difficulty yet each day, I lose the desire to live. Find a reason for existence

Stop watching porn and entertaining the Ho's from the office or you won't have all your possessions long.

Well if you actually are the age you pose and the obscure "I have money but spend it on pussy that has to give me a colonoscopy after" Than I recommend donating your cash to me :) I'll find far more ridiculous ways to waste it..

First start with what makes you happy. Think about it for a while. Maybe you are putting on a show for others when that boosts the ego but doesn’t satisfy the soul.
