- She surely has been tried in court before decision. Which is her right as a citizen.
Insanity is a determining factor, especially in criminal liability. 1st, Considering, insanity, it differs for every person inflicted from this, the volition & awareness is the main aspect, provided with the applicable law.
Some may not be criminally liable, but are civilly liable. It is a case to case basis.
Usually one reason, not criminally liable, when the individual is incapable to distinguish the natural human awareness, due to the insanity.
However there are others who may be insane, but are functioning with complete awareness.
This is why it may be a case to case basis for insanity.
If she is not convicted then it is because of her incapacity to be in the real world due to her illness.
My view is neutral, all because with these cases we have to be discerning. I have taken law these may come up.ReactLike

- I don’t think my view is positive or negative. They do a lot of background checking before they come to terms of if someone is mentally insane , so personally if they aren’t put in jail they need to be put in a mental hospitals and mental hospitals can actually be entirely worse than jails. There’s a video on YouTube somewhere of someone breaking down Nikolas Cruz (school shooter) behaviors and they come to conclusions that he’s pretty much just a sociopath that thought he could get away with murder. It’s pretty interesting to watchReact

- If they are deemed insane by a medical professional, then there is no positive or negative view you can have.
It's a pillar of law that you cannot prosecute those who have no mental capacity for control.ReactLike

- I am 100% okay with people getting the insanity plea and going into the state mental hospital until they get better, then they can stand trial.
That is how it actually should work, or at the very least they go into the state hospital for the rest of their lives... never to be let out.ReactLike

Deinstitutionalization was one of the worst ideas ever, as it limited this very thing. And now, with fraud, crazy can get elected to Congress. And here we are, where almost nothing is too perverted or warped to avoid becoming a protected class.
- I don't understand a not guilty verdict. I think they should be found guilty, then sentenced. Then part of that sentencing is about them getting mental help.React

- Anonymous3 moI have neither a positive or negative view of these people. They are sick and in need of help. They are not in control of their actions any more than you can control a sneeze. It's not a conscious choice. It's a thing that happens to them.React

- The insanity defense is typically harder than you think. Because instead of the prosecutor having to prove you did it, YOU now have to prove you're insane and the burden shifted to you proving your case instead of just disproving theirs.React

Did the video say anything about Trump? If not, and you're the first to make it about him... that's also pretty crazy. Even a lot of conservatives that voted for him have now moved on. I went Constitution Party years ago. I'm ahead of the curve. A lot of the others are placing their bets on DeSantis. I feel this could be misguided, as he's weaksauce. But that's where things are at now. Trump is the past. Embrace the present, so the future doesn't get worse. Because if you place all your faith in Brandon, things will only get worse.
Better than being a vapor. Omicron does some damage. My hypothalamus became hyperactive due to it, and I feel like I'm back in college, thirsty as heck. But in time, that damage will repair itself. Your situation... I don't know if it can be cured.

- Well they did what they did and society still needs to be protected from them. They're not responsible because they're crazy but that doesn't mean I'd invite them round for coffee.React
