It is a choice. You have contraception you have abstinence… if you choose to do the act you choose to get pregnant. No freaking accountability.
Contraception at most is 99% effective. Not 100%. And rape can occur at any moment, whether you personally care or not. I think it’s time men took some accountability instead of blaming this all on women.

The effectiveness of contraception shouldn’t even be a consideration… first comes the condom which is 99% effective on it own! Also consider the insert which I can’t remember but I think it’s higher 80% as well… then the pill that’s like 80+%… then finally plan B which is 86% effective… Not including other practices like avoiding your ovulating cycle and pulling out… The odds of having an unwanted child if you practice all these is so god damn minuscule it’s almost astronomically impossible. I’ve had sex far more then you I promise lol. No kids. Sexually active for 12 years nothing… that’s without condoms or inserts and in many cases without the pill… That JUST because of my pullout game.
So condom is 99% effective… this don’t mean one in 100 times will give you a child that means you could have a child on the first time, 3 in a row, or none after thousands of attempts. Now consider the pill on top…

Also that 1% chance of pregnancy with the pill being 80% effective that 1% turns into 0.2% chance of pregnancy… consider the insert at 80% means 0.16% chance of pregnancy. Not including pullout… that’s not 16% or 1.6% that’s 0.16%! You have literally millions of times more risk driving to work once a week.

Personally I only see abortion as essential if the mother's life, the child's life or both are in danger if the baby is brought to term. Otherwise it should be murder after a heartbeat is detected.
