So here are some statics on crime in America to help frame up the discussion.

So according to FBI/DOJ statics in regards to police shootings, as you see Blacks are shot by police at a rate of 1 per every 40 million Black people. Whites are shot by police 1 for every 16 million. So this is concerning, but is it? 🤔

As you see in the numbers above, total number of Whites arrested in 2018 were 5.3 million. Total number of Blacks arrested was 2.1 Million. So 69% of all arrests were Whites, and 27% of all of all arrested were Blacks.

But as you look at the numbers for murder arrests. There were a total of 3,953 Whites arrested for murder, but there were 4,778 Blacks arrested for murder. That means 44.1% of all murder arrests were Whites, and 53.3% of all murder arrests where Blacks.

So you see total population numbers for Whites and Blacks in the United States there were approximately 250 million White people, and 44 million Black people. So Blacks roughly make up 15% of the total population but account for 27% of all arrests and 44% of all murders, and are shoot by police at twice the rate of white people. But at 27% crime rate means blacks commit crime nearly 2 to 1 compared to Whites, and commit nearly 3 to 1 more murders. So Blacks are15% of the total population of United States and account for 27% of all crimes, and 53% of all murders.

So does means Black are commit crimes at twice the rate as Whites, murder at over 3 times the rate of whites?

So what are these social injustice types trying to tell us?

The answer really comes down to if you're willing to believe that the higher crime rates amoung blacks is due to systematic racial discrimination by Whites. Meaning its not their fault, its the white guys fault.

The argument that all black crime is caused by racial discrimination is too extreme. I am not sure if that is a realistic representation of anyone's argument. And this issue is progressive, in that it has to be viewed with a long term lens.

As for the ways that policy decisions (particularly housing assistance and criminal justice punishment), the lack of powerful social connections, and a lack of access to public resources has effected the black community... well, there have been some negative effects. Putting as many poor people into housing projects, then concentrating those projects into specific neighborhoods, guaranteed that their schools would be among the poorest in the nation. None of this will effect crime rates in a positive manner. I would much rather pepper them throughout the nation, and decrease their density.

On the flip side, I think that black people have access to more than ever, and I don't think that enough of that community is taking full advantage of it. Specifically in higher education. Go to your community/junior college, take it seriously, do however much that you can, then transfer. Financial Aid will probably pay for your entire education. This depends on your state and college, but many states will basically let you go to college for free if you are poor and black. And the colleges have a ton of resources for you. An education is not a guaranteed answer for one's issues, but it will help.

Blacks commit more crimes because most are in poverty strickened environments, single parent homes, less education and resources. So I'd say the statistics are factual.

BUT

Let's take into account to that whites get off a lot easier than blacks/browns. They get a slap on the wrist. Lets not forget its common for them to perform terrorist attacks where as blacks a good majority of the crimes are black on black. A good majority of whites have money so they aren't in the scarcity mindset like blacks when it comes to resources.

I’ve been very, very loud on this site and others condemning Woke ideology for several years now as I could see exactly where this was headed.

I saw the storm starting to brew about 20 years ago or so before this stuff was really in the open and mainstream. I knew what it’s effects would do to society. Up until then I was a Democrat. So I defected and realized that much of what Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity were saying on the radio back then was right. Until then I greatly enjoyed laughing at them, but the laugh was on me.

To answer your question I do think that.

I think the rest of America is starting to wake up now. Conservatives saw this for what it was and knew it’s deadly results for sometime but I think the average American whose in the middle, centists if you will, has finally started to wake up and are ready to condemn this nonsense.

Alas it’s too late. Biden’s woke regime has done so much damage that for those in the middle to finally wake up now makes no difference. It’s equivalent to a man vacuuming the floor in the middle of a house fire. I fear as a nation we can’t come back. We’re too deep into woke woods now.

Blacks are only 13.6% of the population... Everyone is responsible for their own behavior. Blacks commit a lot more crime per capita, thus more patrols will occur in high crime neighborhoods where Blacks live. Cops put more resources where the crime is in order to try to deter crime from occurring in the first place. If they don't want cops in their neighborhood, all they have to do is stop doing crime. In fact, the less crime there is, the less need for a large police force. When crime is low, mayors generally cut police funding and spend it on things like education, attracting jobs to a city, city beautification, recreation, etc. When crime is high, it really saps the budget and they need to get more police trained and out patrolling the streets. It's hilarious how woke jokes want to defund the police, so they go out and create more crime, which creates more police...

i think the "woke" thing is just kids with too much time on their hands, kids (any race) growing up poor dont have the time/resources to sit around and think what might be considered offensive or to wonder what fairness means.

There used to be a shitty newspaper sold in the UK called "socialist worker" it had noble intentions of giving a voice to people like coal miners and ship builders but it was almost exclusively sold in the streets by floppy looking university students who would no doubt forget their faux socialism just as soon as they graduated into their chosen professional sphere.

I grew up in a coal mining family, we were poor, nobody, not a single person I ever remember in my family or those on the street on which we lived read the socialist worker, it was a fabrication for rich kids to ease some kind of guilty conscience about having been born into a position of greater priviledge, its the same as the woke thing, almost exactly except now its on a giant, industrialised scale.

I'll put it like this... I got jumped by six blacks and in court, they tried to make it out that I was a white racist and that's why it happened. I was with two Asian girls, my wife and her friend, and my wife's boyfriend that is Mexican... yeah super racist. I never even spoke. I just got hit in the back of the head with a 40oz beer bottle and stomped on while I was knocked out.

Somehow though... I'm super racist for that. I was lucky they got caught, only 2 of them got charged because the rest were under 18, and my $40,000 hospital bills became their problem... as well as prison time.

This country is sick. I honestly don't think their behavior is because I was super racist, by doing or saying nothing. This country is just sick.

You are aware that Law enforcement in the USA is local right?

That most African Americans live in a relatively small number of areas (major cities) which they tend to control, the same areas which tend to have the fewest and most restricted police.

That means the real crime rate in said areas is significantly under-reported, due to a lack of law enforcement to catch and report it.

The murder rate is probably the most honest of those numbers simply because that is the last crime your going to short change abandon enforcement of.

I don´t think that whites don´t know stats the situation that America´s problems are not just solved by turning this into a racial discussion.

I see woke culture creating an atmosphere that throws around accusations of who is to blame and who isn´t because it´s too easy to say that it´s solely a white problem. It surely is to some point but it´s more than that it´s also a question of living standards and people learning how to handle their emotions and many other questions.

I have several close friends I have known for years that are black. To be honest, when we talk about this topic it is they that are being critical, especially about the one crime stat that is rising faster than all the rest, black-on-black crime. First, blacks in the US are roughly 13% of the population. Next, in that example, it seems to be assumed in every case the Police were not justified when they used deadly force. That last part about murder charges? Remember what I said about the 13% ?

As far as the police murder rate, we still have to consider why this is the case because I don't think there is just one reason for it. Racism is definitely one possibility, democratic mayors of massive cities have told their cops to specifically target those communities. Bloomberg was one of them as well get draconian with stop and frisk. Your statistics neglects to mention whether or not they were also armed, so who is to say that they all didn't shoot first?

Second statistic can also be explained by my first explanation, however we don't know how many of those were convicted so how do we know they were all unjust?

I know SJWs point to these statistics to prove that there is systemic racism but the problem with these is that there isn't enough information to prove that. Stats based on getting arrested or shot raises more questions.

I think your judgement is somewhat clouded. Black, white, hispanic, Asian, who cares. If crime is being commit more by one group of people, analyze what behaviour of them causes this, not what colour their skin is. Correlation does not imply causation, you have only pointed out the correlation of the data regarding skin colour, not the causation.
