The internet is nothing but a tool. It can be used wisely, or it can be misused. Ever watch a stupid person trying to use a tool when they don't know what they're doing? Is it the tool's fault?
Net positive but just barely. On one hand, ideas are shared far faster than before. On the other, totalitarianism can easily take over using this so the more decentralized, the better.
Wel the potential for negativity and applications of positivity is always there. The internet is just a thing I see all the good the internet can do information can unite humanity. But the opportunity for disinformation can do the opposite. I think the subject is far too large to say definitively one or the other.

The internet is a net positive, without question.
Positive. Basically the Library of Congress and then some at the beck and call of search engines.
It's a fantastic invention that has brought the world to our living rooms. With it unfortunately comes the public with all that that entails.
I don't blame the technology but i blame the people. That's just like asking if revolutionary is good or bad. It always depends on how you use it

Negative if you look anything news related which is all politics. Positive if you have a genuine interest to learn something

socially its damaging but it benefits people economically. It makes remote work and trade fast. Money is what its all about.
