Why not rather teach the kids and parents how to use the internet and social media the right way, instead of just banning it? When those kids grow up and jump onto it.. well then the shit wil be burning tbh
It is perfect actually teens using social media really ruins there life and the people who think no they deserve it they can handle it... Bruh they're high on hormones they can't handle anything they're always gonna be moody and social media will always be a escape.
And how do they plan to enforce that law? People create fake accounts all the time. And will that be a slippery slope to no online gaming under 18? (Again how would they enforce such a concept.)
parental consent is a good thing. There's too much going on in the world right now that is seemingly focused on destroying the family. It's good to see things like this pop up, designed to get parents more involved in their kid's lives.
But there's always gonna be those people who believe in ultimate freedom, at any age, and that families and parents are just in the way of a good time. 😣
Nice try but i'm gonna say its gonna be futile. Ban smoking for underage people and them kids still smoke and kill themselves in the second slowest way possible.
Well, it’s pretty interesting because I don’t know how they’re going to enforce it after they get home, but they should be only doing schoolwork while in school anyway
Most countries don’t consume pornography as much as western societies not because they can’t but because it’s a cultural issue watching porn is not okay

That’s for someone with a higher pay grade to worry about

I am not sure I like it but I would be interested in the results.

Well those are the kids whose parents don’t give a damn about them anyways
A real parent would put a boot in their ass
Unenforceable. They can't build "The Great Firewall of Utah"
They most definitely can dude your phone can connect to a satellite in space
And you don’t think the higher ups have access to advanced technology?
The "higher-ups" working for the start of Utah? States are notoripusly unable to hire tech workers because that can't match industry salaries.
great news, social media is incredibly damaging to kids, louisiana now requies an ID to access porn sites as of this year also
Parents giving their kids a smart phone which Grant's them unsupervised access to the internet are guilty of child abuse in my opinion.
I'm not sure how it's enforceable, but I don't hate the idea.
While I agree with the premise, good luck actually enforcing that.

Culture wars continue for republicans. When will it end
Didn't tenn. just have another shooting?
Yes it was horrible that person murdered innocent younglings can’t we just keep the kids out of this
Sounds good but how do you enforce it?
Cyber Security
On the federal or state level?
Possibly either way it’s a feasible task
There has to be a will to enforce it.
No just the proper software
... and is there a will to make it work and pay for it? For instance in most states I believe its ilegal for minors to watch pornography yet they do.
Most countries don’t consume pornography as much as western societies not because they can’t but because it’s a cultural issue watching porn is not okay
Are you saying it's the Jews fault?
I think it's great and hope of states will follow Utah's lead.
Good luck enforcing that law.
It’s easier than you think are you familiar with the Nitro Zeus virus?
I agree How can they enforce it?
@BarryLiverstone cyberattack
How is that even possible? I don't understand how you can keep someone off social media?
Cyberattack
About time someonedid something it. to much stuff that kidsshould not see out there
Good they don’t need to spend all day on the Internet
Utah is run by a religious cult - what did you expect?
Totally! Silly Mormons, tricks are for kids!
