probably. chances are in somewhat limitless future that england will win a world cup. they'll be a little old in 2022 but still should be able to compete
thanks for MHO
It will just wait till the next cup, they’ll take it home
Well, we have the European Championships to look forward to 2020, and another world cup in 2022! Sooner or later football will decide to come home.
You support the team too?
Yeah, as a Swedish citizen, the English football team is much more interesting to follow. I even wear a three lions shirt to PE classes.
Well i got into football this year and i support liverpool and thought I’d give england a shot during the cup and i ended up loving the English team
I don't really watch football outside of cups where countries face each other. The countries end up playing with their hearts more than their brains, which makes it even more fun to watch. Not to say that I don't support the Swedish team, but we're usually out way before England. 😅
People must look at you weirdly when wearing the English shirt instead of the swedish one
Some do, but who cares really? Whenever Sweden is playing, I wear that shirt, and whenever England is playing I wear my three lions shirt. Besides, the England shirt generally looks better than ours. Blue and yellow is beautiful! But it doesn't fit well on clothing. And in PE it's always useful to make up thr teams. It's always team England against Sweden, with me, and some other person with a Swedish shirt being the "team leaders".
Have an opinion?
England has a good team just not the right system for the team to work. i feel like they need to play a 3 central defender 4 midfielder. 2 recovery 2 attack minded 3 1 central and 2 wingers with shot form distance m
England will never win XDHope France win the 2022 cup and the next European cup ^-^
France won this time, but you're aware of the winner's curse right? 😉
It'll end with us ^-^
France will get murder next time by my babe <3 Go Germany
@RubbyGeh Germany is not bad they got beaten by Korea XD
They where too hangover to play. they spend there time in russia partying but next world cup they take serious
@RubbyGeh They have too if not they would lost again. They were very arrogant to party all the time when it was a World Cup.
Not if you ask Croatia. 😎
Don't even remind me 😭
FIFA is fixed.
Doesn't make the games less interesting though. Besides, England surely gets to win at some point.
Maybe if England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland played under the United Kingdom flag, they'd win.FIFA doesn't even hide their corruption. A lot of times, they even brag about it.
Completly out of the question. The four are separate countries after all.
Then why was Scotland voting to leave years ago? They're all part of one country, the United Kingdom. It would be like the state of New Jersey competing separately from the rest of the United States. It makes no sense.
4 countries, but one kingdom. Imagine the Westeros in Game of Thrones. Whoever sits on the iron throne becomes King/Queen over 7 different countries. In Queen Elizabeth's case, that would mean England, Scotland, Wales, Nortern Ireland, but also Canada, New Zealand and Australia, although the last three are countries with separate parliaments.
Australia, Canada, and New Zealand have separate parliaments because they are independent countries with their own prime ministers... same as the United Kingdom. England competing on their own is an unnecessary athletic disadvantage.
But it wouldn't make any sense, since England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland all are different countries, who're all members of the United Kingdom. Doesn't change the fact that they're separate countries.
Try calling a Scot an Englishman, and that's a quick way of having yourself injured.
If there's one prime minister, it's one country. It's really that simple. One spot in the United Nations. Soccer and FIFA doesn't determine whether or not you're a country. If they were separate countries, they'd each have a prime minister and there would've never been an "independence" vote in Scotland... because it wouldn't have been necessary.
I'm not suggesting the people are the same, just united under one flag. 👍
I honestly don't think that Scots or Irishmen would want to play with the English though, maybe be Welsh, but I'm far from certain. It's basically like saying that the EU should play under one flag, because we have a parliament in common. It doesn't work that way.
Ireland and the countries in the European Union are independent countries with their own heads of state. The European Union is similar to the United Nations. Made up of many countries.
It bloody better
