So I've been paranode with this for a while, let's say a street fight broke out between a 6 foot 155/70 kg skinny MMA fighter vs 6,3 242.5/110 kg muscle with 6months of boxing. WHO WOULD WIN IN A STREET FIGHT.
Assuming that it's a ine on one fight, in general the MMA fighter would win in that case simply because he'd have more tools to defeat the boxer. If it was standing the boxer would knocm the smaller guys head off, and there's a chance that he might land a lucky punch. But if the MMA guy uses kicks, grapplibg, ground fighting especially, the boxer is fucked. Fighting a guy on the ground who has no ground game is like fighting a turtle.
In fact there was a fight between a 150lb BJJ guy and a 250lb bodybuilder. The BJJ guy takes the fight to the ground and ends the fight with an armbar, which if this was a street fight woukd ave snapped the bodybuilders elbow.
unless the bigger guy was a complete failure as a fighter, he should win that fight quite easily. He would have power enough to break any type of submission holds he gets put in, and he'd have significantly more power behind his own punches.
