after swimming , i would go for yoga, dancing etc...
what about you?

Christian Hosoi (my idol back then and inspiration -- unfortunately he got addicted to Crystal Meth and got imprisoned). If he wasn't imprisoned he'd probably be as big of a name as Tony Hawk today. Tony Hawk was a super technical skater but Hosoi was the air guy -- smooth like a surfer gliding over the air and doing bigger airs than anybody.

Not pro and never got to Hosoi's level. Just little local contests and some free gear in exchange for advertising it. :-D I never got paid for it.
Real pros are kind of lunatics in my opinion. They have to accelerate healing process with many trips to the hospital so they can resume earning a living. The street skaters are crazier in my opinion because they don't wear any pads and there are lots of hard surfaces with edges that we can't slide on like handrails and steps. With vert, we tend to fall all the time and get lots of bruises but not so many big injuries. I much prefer keeping it as a hobby. :-D
