I grew up shooting rifles but they were all my dad's. A Colt 2000 was given to me by an uncle when I was 16, it was the first gun that was ever mine. I kept it cleaned and practice with all the time. I was shooting with some friends and they had glocks, 1911s and bereteas and they were all better shots than me, they let me squeeze off a few rounds with there's and all of a sudden I was hitting what I was aiming at with tighter groupings. That was the last time I used the colt 2000 and actually dumped it with the police gun hand in and got myself a glock 17L, still have it. It's my go to home defense gun. Colt 2000 is a piece of shit that couldn't hit a barn door at 10 feet and jams a lot. I love colts especially military surplus colts but the colt 2000 was a dud.
S&W 686 modded to be legal in Commiefornia. This state sucks. I really want an unmodified Fostech Origin 12 but the Politburo... I mean legislature makes it a felony.
My dad has a bunch of guns from BB guns to rifles, and even an AK which he made himself. I will probably get one from him or buy one once I'm out of college because I have no use for one right now. But that's in many years so I'm not worried about it right now. Good question!
