When Jack Dempsey was in his early 70s and by himself, two guys in their 20s tried to strong arm rob him, not knowing who he was. Dempsey beat them so severely that when the cops showed up to the scene, they initially took him into custody.
@NYCQuestions1976 woah lol
That woman was no saint. Plus he's my childhood hero. 1+1=I forgave Mr Tyson and see the man that he is today. I caring, thoughtful and ultimately gental soul who overcame a huge disadvantage that life gave him.
Only because at that time everyone figured out how to beat Mike. Don't be a man and stand toe-to-toe with him wrap him up.
@Avenoma what Holyfield went toe to toe with tyson, eat him up all his punches. It was lewis who wrapped him up. Lewis beat both tyson and holyfield
I'm going to have to watch that fight again. You can't say he didn't lean into him with his head though. Leme bring it up right now lol
Man. I don't know. Looks like he started throwing his body into Mike and grabbing him after the first round.
He would just straight charge into Mike and grapple him
@Avenoma I see tyson coming in close to drop some heavy punchers and Holyfield not moving back like most fighters normally and counter punches. Holyfield is a cruiserweight who went to the heavyweight division, so he's not a typical heavyweight, he's fast but he can also take a hit and hit hard. If you watch tyson is catching holyfield with blows that would knock most other heavyweights out. Holyfield was one of the great cruiserweights and heavyweights.
True. I just feel like everyone had a strategy for Mike and Mike had one strategy for everyone. GOAT shit there.
@Avenoma tyson was a great boxer in an era of greats with some major wins but Lenox Lewis was the goat though I think he retired too early.
Why is that he lost the first two fights between them
I haven't followed recently he use to me a favorite of mine years ago... dont recognize the other guy honestly
