No. That is something that should inspire. What I do find funny is people who go to belt mills who are so proud of their black belts but who would probably get pummeled in a match up with a same weight class novice in a full contact art.

Not really. I have purple belt.

Those above me were the only reason I kept going and am still going. Because its a symbol of status and I have always felt that I want that black belt as well
