Is the MLB in danger of cancelling again after the Marlins tested positive for Corona Virus?

I really can't see how any of these sports that are trying to finish or have a season are going to be able to finish it. This virus spreading too much so I can't imagine them getting through the season without a few outbreaks with various teams.

Maybe hockey can manage since they're doing all the games in Canada where they've done a better job of controlling it than the US has, but even there I'll be surprised if they get all the way through the playoffs without having to shut down again.

Tbh all America sports should be cancelled right now. Don't worry though, your friendly neighbors up north will start up an extra season of hockey for you so that you still have something to watch. We'll do it safely too, if appropriate social distancing is not possible then it will probably not be open to have people in the stands, which is for the best rn.

maybe they should just consider cancelling all sports for the rest of the year. to avoid the players being at high risk.
