Lol, they aren't playing!
because they would win :P it's a conspiracy. They the real champs this year. But I'm anti both Alabama and Ohio State, so I can't support this game either way sadly.
The real champs? How? They weren't even ranked in the Top 10 in the CFP rankings, didn't finish the season unbeaten either. Look at their schedule. They played ONE great team, that's it.
and yet they have an open challenge to any team in the nation to play them every year. Never wondered why those big schools refuse every time and still sneak a few small schools in their schedule to play against for "easy wins"? Ohio State barely even played half a season. Not sure I'd even qualify them or brag about their undefeated record of 6 whole games, except if I was a big business trying to make money for tv ratings. ;) I'm old enough to remember when Boise State dominated everything and everyone, but was still kept out of the chance to play for the championship. We all know how it works, and it has very little to do with actual football. But I'm not mad. Just acknowledging the flawed system and refuse to bow down to the almighty football conferences they tell us rule the earth. :-) I'll watch the game anyway and enjoy it. lol
I actually agree about Ohio State. The Big Ten should not have changed the rules to let them play. But really, I see your point. BYU had 4-5 P5 non-conference opponents scheduled for this year. If they had been undefeated through that, they may have been in the Top 10 or Top 7.
