Golfing isn’t always cheap - my uncle’s client golfed at a country club where membership was over $100,000 a year and there were golf and country clubs so elitist that not even Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen were allowed to join.

I already golf. I learned when I was just a kid. I didn't enjoy it for many years but I kept playing a few times a month until recently just so that I don't get rusty. Not too long ago, I started playing more often because my husband, brothers & dad kept on dragging me to play. Now, it's hard to pull me away from a golf course. It can be addicting especially if you're good at it.

Golf isn't cheap but it doesn't necessarily have to be extremely expensive either. I don't waste my money on those ridiculously expensive memberships. However, I wouldn't turn down an invitation to tee it up in country clubs such as Augusta National where the famed Masters tournament is held yearly in Augusta, Georgia. Occasionally, my husband, brothers, dad & I would treat ourselves to "specially-discounted" deals on expensive public courses like Pebble Beach & Spyglass Hill in Monterey, California and Torrey Pines in La Jolla, California. We've even traveled to the United Kingdom just to get a taste of the Old Course at St. Andrews in Fife, Scotland.

Water skiing 100 percent. I see my rich friends do that a lot *sniff* but it looks fun. Golfing anyone can rlly do and all but that is like u gotta own a boat or sum shet.

Well I think sport should be done for enjoyment and not because you want an excuse to spend money and the second thing is I delete responses with swear words a lot

Alpine skiing is cheaper and more fun if you live near a ski resort. All you need is a ski pass and a ride.

I'm not sure what sports I would play, but I know which one I wouldn't play: Golf. I played one time, and I was absolutely awful. No lie... I actually shot +100 over 18 holes. However I did somehow manage to birdie the 3-par 13th hole. It was my only positive golf moment, other than eating and drinking at the "19th Hole" with my friends afterwards.

The one I already do, downhill skiing. Don't have to be rich but have to be willing to fork out enough to enjoy your hobby. Taking this season off due to covid, but hope to get back to it next season.

With the multi-mountain passes available now, you can get a lot of days in at a reasonable price.

I'm a long way from rich but once I'm able to walk again I'll be playing golf as soon as I can.

Unfortunately it's been 30 years since I've been able to take part in ballet, but until I was 20 I loved dance. I just got too heavily set.

I thought you were going to pick expensive sports. You can do all those without being rich. I would pick Auto Racing. You don't have to be rich, but it is expensive. I had a friend who raced Porsche 911 Cup. Cost him about $25,000 per race weekend.

I hate elites and generally despise rich people so places where those kinds of people congregate are not a place I'm gonna enjoy spending my time.
