When i cane to Sweden in 2005 , through the years I played Rugby and football (American) and the only one that I felt passion for was Rugby. I used to watch European football all the time until 2009

American vs metric? Football had no fancy equipment? I am not getting what you are saying. The most sold jerseys are football jerseys (european) i don't like it either. Equipment? Most sold sport equipment are football cleats. You need to think about this as a world wide and the NFL is not , it's played only in America
I'm not saying that soccer HAS no fancy equipment, just that it doesn't REQUIRE it. If you're homeless, or a child, you're not likely to have what you need to play, say, basketball (which requires two backboards and baskets at fixed and identical heights). All you need for soccer is a ball and a flat field. At a professional level, it requires more, natch.
And as to geography, my point is that the world doesn't consist simply of the US and Europe. YOU need to bear that in mind.
I do agree on the the points you wrote there about football. I played all 3 and your football is just too slow with all the defence/offence change, the long time that it takes, the pads and armor, but still not as bad as the other football is. I watched a super bowl once and never more, OMG the commercials, the shows, in betweens, here there, just play the god damn game 🤣 . I do like the workout and the crew management.
Yeah the Superbowl has become like some sort of money grab party. Less about the game more about the halftime show and commercials. People performing at halftime that probably don't even know the rules of the game. Kind of sad actually.
