I did football (soccer), rugby (for one year), tennis, badminton, baseball, discus, javelin throw, shot put, 1600 meter running (I dropped out after a year) and swimming. Those were on top of the other non-sport school activities.
Athletics, rugby, soccer, tennis, badminton, cricket wide variety, I guess so we could try different sports, hopefully find one we liked, girls did netball instead of cricket,,, Also did dodgeball, British bulldog,,, Boys who were caught fighting sometimes had to do boxing lol,,,
Football, an ill-fated attempt at learning lacrosse late (didnāt know it existed as a sport til I got to my high school, Iām a city kid lmao), and then I went back to baseball for the spring season for sophomore through senior year.

Always been curious the name - field hockey. It's not a game that readily lends itself to mountains, forests or city streets. So a field is pretty much the only option.
Gymnastics, cheerleading, wrestling, dance, and tennis. I was very active in extracurricular activities. Tennis was my favorite sport of all the ones I tried. I wish I tried figure skating though āø
