I'm at a game tonight. It's really fun but the home team kinda sucks. It's actually more catered towards kids though although they serve beer at the concession stand (which a craft is $7 and a domestic is $5)
Darn Skippy! Helps if you have a good farm system. The last 10 years has been really good as we've Had Anthony Rizzo, Schwarber, Russell, and Kris Bryant come up through our farm system. But it's more than that! Baseball in the summer there's just nothing else like it. The sights, the sounds, the smells. It has to be experienced in person.
I did once and it was enjoyable but the fun had nothing to do with the sport since Iām not a sports viewer, it was the fact I was there with my friends and surrounded by cheering crowds who were celebrating and tanning in the beautiful summer sun and eating beer and nacho style food and having meaningful conversations with my buddies about the guys I was interested in and the experience we were all having in our lives.
Yes. the local farm team is in the city where my vacation home is. I usually take in a game or two during the summer. It's good baseball for not a lot of money. I have seen a few all star caliber players before they went to the pros.
