My iPhone’s screen is detaching from its body. Recently I’ve noticed the screen is separating into two parts.
After replacing the battery is it possible to fix this screen (it still works currently) or do I really need another screen.
Can I still use the camera and home button from my original screen or do I need to buy a screen with all of that included?

Update:
Me and my guy opened the phone and the battery was more swollen than you can imagine. We put it out and will replace once I get another battery. The screen was fixable. My guy just pushed it together so it’s no longer separating into two layers. ☺️

You need to take you complaint to Apple and simply tell them to start making iPhones more better and sturdier to use cause as you see iPhones are not that sturdy , they are cheap and i agree with Jjpayne get a another cheap phone while you save the money up to get a better one or get the iPhone repaired which in most cases will cost more money.

If Apple replaced your battery, ask them and they might give you a break on the screen. Next would be at a "ubreakifix. com" shop. If the repair exceeds one-third the cost of the new phone, I'd buy new.
We just had that problem - batteries were shop, cases were shot- the fixes totaled > half the cost of new so we got new.
They haven't replaced it haha and yea I’ll have to replace battery this one got faulty and it caused screen to detach but we pushed it back together so its fine

I'd recommend another phone at this point that's something that honestly to me would require taking the whole phone apart and putting it back together... It looks like a lot of work. I'm currently using a terrible low grade phone but it works and has all the bells and whistles that I need so I recommend getting a 50 dollar phone and use the time to save up and get a replacement phone. I honestly hope you get some better advice where you can save your phone but that's my take on it
I already have another one But I want to fix this... well not its not too much work. If you change battery u need to put it apart. If ur rich u can change a phone every year even for small issues like if u break glass or ruin battery. But nah m8 this phone is old but still better than many androids. IPhones are always the best.
It's up to you. I'm not rich myself :) having to replace one or two Android phones a year is about 50 dollars or less a time which is not bad for me :) however I phones are clearly different but my suggestion is to have a standby phone while you save up money for an I phone if owning an I phone is your desire
Lithium-ion battery become fat if they are completely discharged. When the phone says the battery is empty there is still 20-30% power to avoid hydrogen electrolysis inside the battery. If you don't charge a phone over longer time frame it loses the remaining energy and the battery discharges completely, then happens a chemical process that produces gas and the battery starts to look like a pillow. It happened to a phone that I didn't use over months, it didn't break like yours but it looked somehow round.

some cases you can get would hold all that in place... i advise you go to a phone shop or phone case shop before paying loads to get that repaired
It will keep getting worse I believe based on what has happened since July til now. I haven’t been using the phone during that time anymore. I left it in a box that came with an iphone. I am sure the battery is faulty and might be causing all of that.. but is it fixable after replacing battery... screen still works
Nah lol I already got a new phone but this old phone I want to fix as it was my first iphone I have great memories of it. I know its fixable... i am just asking is this screen fixable or I need another one
wll it looks to me like it would all just click back into place and a new case would hold it there but without it here infront of me its not so easy to tell from the picture which is why i suggest you just ask in a local phone shop
Do you rlly think they know anything about phones since they are just selling cases. I doubt their knowledge is high lol me and you can start selling it. No requirements
