Don't forget, too, that smart speakers are designed to listen. Smart tv's, as well. As the IOT gets larger, so do the opportunities for surveillance.
phones are already there... they rack where you go and shops you visit have loggers in them so suddenly you get advertizing of onstore offers from those shops. thats just the start and one reason i dont have a smart phone. it may all be inevitable but i refuse to make it easy for them
@wankiam Yes. I read all about those trackers. That's why I stick with my old Nokia dumb phone! 😂😂
great idea... mine broke so i never replaced it but like a friend of mine said who also doesn't have a phone, its great because before whenever it rang it was someone wanting something lol
@wankiam I make very few calls or texts. It's ideal for me. PAYG at an average of £4-5 per month!
yeah thats good. mine was payg too. did you know in america it has always been the case you must register a phone before you can use it... i saw you mention china but its here already in many cases
@wankiam I read about it being the norm in China, so the tech is probably here, too
i think its seen as the norm in china because its all out in the open... the only difference i can see in the west is that its all hidden in ways to keep the illusion we live in a free world alive
@wankiam I guess that is why so many people are complacent. If the can't see it and understand it, they come out with the old cliche, "I do nothing wrong, so why should I worry!"
yep and then when you try to tell them about hypernormalisation they look at you gone out
Technology must be terminated.
Then shut down your pc lol.
In time. However it's the only to way to reach those who need to hear it the most

I want to see how many people refuse to see the truth
if you look up hypernormalisation it will explai why you won't get many responces like mine. great question though
Oh I know. On my previous question, I had no answer from any girl for awhile which I found interesting.
Not everyone has a FB. More people are deleting their page each day
Far more have FaceBook (70%) than smart homes (12%)...
Where is your source from? A mainstream news site is the most unreliable source for news
There have been a number of major “opinion polls” that report numbers anywhere from 68-70% (Pew Research Center for example) in regards to FaceBook usage by adult Americans… Take that for whatever it’s worth. There have also be market intelligence reports from S&P Global in regard to smart homes in the USA placing it around 12.5% of American homes. That said there are plenty of ways to track people, their purchases, habits, relationships, etc.
Theyre one in the same
