You do understand how war and countries work right?
yes i absolutely do. and know how social engineering works. that's why russia was able to use facebook to influence the American elections. that was a big scandal that shows that china or russia don't need to be the "owners" of a given platform. of course america does the same thing vice versa. warfare nowadays is 90% digital.but this is more about censorship and legislation to suppress the American population.it's almost funny how everyone laughs at china banning youtube but then america bans tik tok... it's just an absurd double standard to scoff at other countries for outrageously controlling their people and then doing the exact same.
Maybe because it's odd and not something they do often... china censor I don't think it is perticularly un thought of? But america is a different country and maybe stands for different things?...
not really. america does the exact same shit censoring the media, controlling the people like cattle and telling them "america is great". the exact same thing the chinese government does.but of course if you'd actually go to realize that, you'd question everything your society is build on and you don't want that causue that would make seem life like utter chaos. living in that safe space in your mind that assumes all is good and nothing is going wrong "in the country you live" but in every other one is a delusion of safety, that is usefull for the individual survival and because you as the individual can't do anything about any of that anyway.
See the thing is this isn't new information, dilusion of safety what? These or (at least some of these things are not that hard to figure out) but you guy act or tend to act like this is some new information or you are some sort of outliers... .. I just don't think/doubt it's true...
i agree with you that this is not "new information". it is not "new information" that government isn't your friend and must be scrutinized, critiqued and corrected. but i see more and more people defending the word of the government as if it was gospel.more and more people just mindlessly repeat headlines they've ead on social media or on clickbait news titles without understanding the topics to any sort of depth while still having the "illusion" of thinking they know what they're talking about...those things are not new. i agree. but i think it's becoming more prevalent in recent years.
