Can you save PS4 games on PS5?

Question

I’ve upgraded my PlayStation a few times.
I've got the PS4 but can you save PS4 games to PS5?
I don’t see the hype on the PS5.
Does anyone have the PS5 & do you like it?

Yes you can, you can also transfer your save files from PS4 to PS5 so you don't need to start again. The PS5 doesn't come out until November so I haven't tried it yet, personally I just rebuilt my gaming PC so I'll stick with that and my PS4.

Yeah, you won't have that problem going from PS4 to 5. I'd maybe wait until after the Christmas release hype has died down, then pick up a PS5 in the summer sale perhaps, once all the busted consoles are returned and fixed.

Good idea. I’ve got Crash Bandicoot on PS4 so I didn’t want that to go to waste if I decide to buy a PS5.
