So as a follow up to my last mytake of last year with North Carolina, this one involves my two day trip from new jersey six flags and New York itself. To start lets look at the beginning of my shots from the trip.
This was the start and my second trip on a plane and this time it was completely by myself which was kind of fun. That is a fun view :)
So six flags New Jersey had many different rides and this was one of them with many loops smooth loops on this one but 7 times going upside down
El Toro was also another ride which I had a personal issue with. According to staff of the park, in order to ride the ride you had to put your wallet inside of a ride locker. WHY WOULD I PUT MY WALLET INSIDE OF A ELECTRONIC LOCKER!!!! Sorry.. anger fading... going... STUPID RIDE LOCKER...going down... settling.... relaxed... calm. Let me tell you my anger... watch the fine print folks.. REMOVE ALL ITEMS FROM YOUR POCKETS!!!! Sorry... anger fading... It was a really fun ride but it was so stupid that we had to put wallets inside of electronic lockers... stupid lockers...
The Green lantern and sky ride was also pretty fun to do.
Nitro was fun too! But the real thing for me was the next pic
They have a safari with a real tour guide. It was pretty fun and with animals that can come right up to your car of which giraffes were included. and what about my filming technique :)
again that is me using my phones camera :) They may be short clips but real ones of me on the ride, hey is that a bear that could walk up to our car :)
We ended the night by doing some old fashioned bumper cars and its hard to tell but its a pink car :)
We started the next day traveling by car and ending up taking a boat and going to this place.. I am not sure if anyone has heard of this big girl
I also went into some mini museums on the island
I found a full size replica of her face and could not resist
We checked into our hotel relaxed briefly and then decided to go find some New York Pizza, Apparently a 1 dollar a slice and it was not bad at all and makes me think of how much they charge for that pizza at the mall :)
We wanted to go to the Nintendo Store and on the way I just stumbled on to this place, apparently they like film jimmy fallon and snl here and stuff :) did not get a chance to go in though :(
We made it to the Nintendo store with two floors and I got myself a 6 dollar keychain the cheapest thing I could find to buy as a souvenir
This store was also close by and Big was filmed in New Jersey so I think Tom Hanks would have filmed the movie in this store. But either way really close to where they film nbc news I think
Those flags in the background of this video I believe are on news broadcasts. This is me playing on a piano but it probably was not the exact one that Tom Hanks would have used
Next thing we did was catch an uber with a fun guy that said something about new Yorkers that was really funny, they are nice a##holes, in a way he said they leave you alone to your own business but will give you a hand from time to time :) at least that was the vibe have gave anyway the uber driver took us to see the twin towers memorial place which had two pools that looked like this with names in plaques that you can kind of see in the corner of the picture and those are fountains going into the pool which then goes in the square in the middle. It is quite beautiful to see.
That is a pic from the national memorial museum which unfortunately was closed when we got there and was booted off the grounds shortly after our arrival :(
I also found out that THERE IS A MALL CLOSE TO A NATIONAL MEMORIAL.... HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN? CRAZY!!!!
To boot it was a Westfield mall that also was home TO A TRAIN STATION!!! A WESTFIELD MALL THAT HAS A TRAIN STATION AND IS CLOSE TO A NATIONAL MEMORIAL... I was pretty impressed
So uber or train, uber or train... we took a New York train back, it turned out to be a little cheaper that way :)
We ended up getting off at times square :) and I will say a very fun night life, Disney store open until 1pm with two floors, pretty cool
It was pretty fun to be in place used in movies quite often. Honestly it was really fun to be there at night and very safe or at least felt that way it is truly the city that never sleeps and I regretted not taking more advantage of the night life. But I did end up finishing the night at....
Planet Hollywood, which is kinda like the museum for movie buffs so many things it is so fun
This is a tour of it that a person did. But they even have John belushi's Jacket from the blues brothers movie and the sports almanac from back to the future so pretty cool stuff... and im posing next to what i assume are the clothes that Arnold wore in t2 but it was pretty expensive, it is like a minimum of 20 dollars for any item on the menu :(
so that is it in a nut shell. We pretty much did a long travel back like 12 hours or so driving and hey im back in Illinois aka Chicagolandish area :)
thanks for reading!
