  • Ehhh yeah. Like ferry not a cruise or something.

I’ve taken a ferry from China to Vietnam.

I’ve taken ferries to/from hong kong/Macau/China. Which technically aren’t different countries but there is different passport control, customs and immigration for each one.

  • Yes to France, and if you don't go outside it just feels like you're in a hotel lol. But if you do go outside it's pretty fun

  • Yes I do sometimes because it's a bit of an abbreviation if you're on time & only takes 5 minutes :D

I also took a long ferry in Greece but that was my worst nightmare, although it had all kinds of restaurants & shopping spaces/hangouts

Oh, I didn't even think about lake ferries.
Private? I guess that still counts. That would actually be cool.

OMG! ME TOO! I was thinking about making that my next destination, but I looked at some of the ruins, and a lot of them aren't that impressive, and the cities are ugly, so I think 10 days might be too long, and I'm thinking now maybe Sicily would be a better option.

    • 6d

      We should go together.

Me too. I wanna take a ferry from Europe to North Africa and from Cyprus to Israel

    • 6d

That would be such a long time but I imagine it would be a very enjoyable experience.

    • 6d

Not really. The ferry leaves at 6 PM and arrives at 6 AM, so you basically sleep through the whole journey so you wouldn't even feel it.
I would even go for one day.
Take overnight ferry, take a tour than head back. I will do that some day.
