I've been to Tegalalang rice terrace. It was such a serene and peaceful experience being there. I remember having lunch in a nice open hut belong to one of the restaurant there overlooking the rice terrace view.
Sounds incredible! Thank you for sharing!!
I’ve been a few times, the best place is ubud and there is a giant swing that goes over the paddies - it’s stunning!
Why the heck are you not traveling the world with your kid and vlogging the whole thing? This needs to happen
I'd have to come up with a way to fiance it! That would be a dream come true.
I think the vlogging itself finances it for the people who travel
Thanks!! We should have a gag Meetup there
Saw them on Bohol Philippines.
Amazing!! Thanks for sharing!!
I'm not going to Bali 'cuz there's Asian people there
If I ever get around to visiting Australia/New Zealand then I'm definitely going to visit Indonesia/Malaysia had friends who did the whole back packing experience when they were younger, where they spent a Summer in Australia but a couple of those weeks in Malaysia and Indonesia and they just say it's a fascinating part of the world.
Why visit a rice paddy in person and get eaten alive by mosquitoes when I can simply look at a picture online and stay in my own house? You know what you do if you go to Bali? You go look at the rice paddy for about two minutes and they you say, "Huh. Okay, let's get back in the car."
You would need a bird's-eye view to get a good look at it. I would want to go somewhere pleasant to traverse or relax in.The image looks like a very pleasant stay.
Its beautiful but I just think of the challenge of reaching those rural cities where you have to climb those hills manually and drink pipeline water from those areas and eat their food. Also the cost of the airplane to get there.
It's cool to look at for a few minutes but i don't think it's that visually appealing. I mean you're looking at some's agricultural engineering. Hell my town is surrounded by farm fields. Lol
Mayans and Aztecs had one of the first irrigation systems to exist. And the Mayans also did the slash and burn technique in cultivating their crops which lead to their extinction.
It looks pretty cool and it would fun to learn about how it works and it's history
sure., I want to live there for the rest of my life
I'm surprised Bali had a rice terrace. In my country, we also have that. It's the Banaue rice terraces. And even China has that too.
I'd love to travel more but never seem to make the time.
hell yeah. even for just trying to get pictures like this!
I could or could not do that, I will be fine either way on that one.
Id like to know why bali has become so popular, especially with insta models
😯 that view looks stunning!
