Charlestown is the most populated, and capital city of West Virginia, United States of America (USA). The city was founded in 1788. Believe it, or not, West Virginia is not a Third-World Country. When I think of Charleston, I think of Charleston, South Carolina, since South Carolina's Charleston is a lot more popular, and has a lot more charm than West Virginia's Charleston.
It's also the county seat of Kanawha County.
