What are your thoughts about the earthquake in Turkey? Did you send help?
Only heard a little about... horrible, can only imagine that people are dying under rubble right now. Little kids, families, homeless kids that lose their families. Then they have to live outside in the cold.
I was wondering when such would occur given rumor the earths core was rotating again. I would assume that creates flow/change and pressure changes that ripple up. If that is true, then more to come... somewhere, maybe Tsunami's. Be prepared!
I'd thought of training rescue dogs, that be a rewarding career to save lives. Maybe I should, but out of my skill set at the moment.
But I've not sent anything, how do you even do that to be effective?
Note that Syria was hit as well. Those people have been through misery for a long time... horrible.

That is tragic to hear about. I prey for the safety and well being of all those affected. I have not donated as this may be a region prone to this sort of thing and a long term solution will be most effective. I have made donations to ukrainian refugees most recently in the form of supplies like toiletries, toothpaste and household items for family lodgings in stadiums.
I hope some charitable organizations can gain the aid required to help those most affected in the short term in turkey now.
I honestly just heard of it today.
I can only hope they’re governments and local allies are helping them with immediate relief.
I haven’t seen any pictures either, and can’t really imagine the extent of it.
It just made me think: I hope everyone politically calms down, since clearly everyone globally is facing climatic issues, and that’s enough stress, already.
Its a tragedy, thousands people died and lost their home and safety. My condolences with them. Been experiencing earthquakes in my city, although me and my family okay and our home was fine but the trauma never really recovers, can’t imagine how about those people who lost everything including their loved one. Hope everything will get better

Turkey can pay for it's own clean up. It can pay for it with the equipment and resources it has stolen from Syria over the past several years. I don't support thieves and murderers.
I feel sorry for Syria, which also suffered severe damage and loss of life from the quake, but has also been under a brutal siege by the U. S. for no reason at all. Therefore, it is severely lacking in equipment for firefighting, rescue, clean up, and medical care, as well as necessary drugs.
The Syrian government cares WAY more about its people than Istanbul government cares about its own. My support goes to Syria, a victim of western aggression. We need to do more!!
As far as I'm aware, from the UK alone, we have sent 78 search and rescue specialists... This to me, is too few.. The number of deaths in the coming days is going to triple.
70 countries have pledged help, but it needs to be immediate!! Hope for these survivors will be running out by tomorrow, (day 3) with temperatures as low as they are, hypothermia, dehydration and pain.. 😔💔
It's heart breaking!! 💯💔I can’t believe on top of the disaster they are dealing with some people here calling these families in the rubble shitskins? So much hate how is it acceptable to blurt such irrelevant hateful crap about families and children buried under their homes? yes I’m talking about you shit head.
Nope. Did not send help. I live where I live because I know damn well, millions of years can pass by and I will never be afraid of what Mother Nature can hurl at me, because I only need to plan out 80 years of life. People should be far more smart in these regards. Seeing as I've already lived 40 years. 40 more years is nothing. And I feel no remorse for people who can't plan out a simple 80 years. If you want to be stupid? Go ahead.
of course i didn't send help. i don't even live in turkey and even then i don't do that. that's the governments job. they take my money for exactly that kind of stuff. not to put it in their own pocket. so by donating to this, i feel like i pay twice for the same thing.
When disasters like this happen, all people need help. It doesn't matter what country you live in. Everyone needs support and this is a humanitarian duty.
What are my thoughts? It's an earthquake. It happens and we can't do anything about it. It's horrible that so many people died and are going to be dislocated, but we can't do anything to prevent them. I don't know what you expect people to think about really.
It's sad. Those images were hard to watch.
No. I'd much more quickly send help to Syria. Everyone is sending help to Turkey, but they don't want to send help or money to Syria because they don't trust Assad and think there's a war still going on in that part of Syria and they'll get kidnapped or killed. Ridiculous excuse considering they send people to Ukraine.
I won't shed a single tear for these shitskins. Just two weeks ago they were protesting against Europe, giving us orders and demanding shit. They were and will always be our enemies. When our children get killed in terrorist attacks they celebrate and now they cry for their dead in an earthquake that might as well have been divine punishment. No European should help in any way. Every cent we spend for them is made into a bullet they use against Ukraine and Greece.
Turkey is brother country, Turkey helped too much during deadly earthquake in Pakistan, so now Pakistan has sent Rescue Teams, medicines, doctors and Para medical staff and equipment. Pakistan will send money and government has appealed to public donate money for Turkey and Syria
Why would I send help to the enemy? These fuckers would slice my throat just to make a scary video to create fear amongst other Americans. I hope they rot under the rubble. Not my problem.
I just checked on a friend who lives there.
She insists she's fine but her voice was shaky.
I plan to send someone to personally check on her and help her if necessary.
Our thoughts are with the people of Turkey and Syria, I believe Irish aid agencies immediately kicked into action and people will donate to appeals.
The place was kind of a wreck before...
https://www.youtube.com/embed/VWj1mE2VZewMy contry sent as they always do
I yet to do much my self yet trying to assest the best location that help the most to do it from thereIt’s a disaster more than 4000+ Souls left earth yet idiots especially Americans relate this country to politics.
You grandfather fought for Vietnam and they still don’t why what a piece of donut cream is this JackVery sad news. I'm going to send a donation through Revolut. But let's not forget that the earthquake was also felt in Syria, Jordan, Lebanon and Palestine and they need some help too.
The Turkey earthquake was a tragedy and no I did not send anyone to help.
I don't care. Other countries don't help the USA when there are disasters so we should just let them fend for themselves.
it's heartbreaking... my heart goes out to Turkish pips esp to T and his loved ones. hopefully they're safe. i bet they're safe though 😁😁😁🙏🙏🙏🙏
