If feminism is for equality, why are they now using the phrase "The Future is Female"?

Here's some history on the phrase, for those who don't know:

Why aren't we instead saying the future is "equality" or "cooperation" or "everyone" or "inclusion", etc? To say "The Future is Female" should be very unsettling to anyone who believes in true equality. What are boys growing up and just learning about the world supposed to take from that phrase? That they need to step aside because there's no place for them? Why is this phrase being used by a movement that ostensibly believes in true gender equality?
