What do you think about the fact that Italy might become the first country to have paid menstrual leave?

Blitzkrieger
So basically women would be allowed to stay at home for three days if they have painful period while getting paid also. They can do this each month.

“Women are already taking days off because of menstrual pains, but the new law would allow them to do so without using sick leaves or other permits,”

I have a 2 thoughts about this.

1. How do you know a woman has indeed a painful period and how do you regulate women who are already in menopause which could pretend to be having a period to get off from work and get paid for it too?
2. Allowing women to leave from work for having menstrual pains is basically admitting that the workforce should better be left over to men and women should return to the household.
