Yes from northern Ireland that's the way they speak. Some black bastard raped his friend, so he wanted to kill some black bastard. Some black bastard being the rapist, not a random black guy.
OK, I see you've swallowed the Kool-Aid.
Different countries have different languages and dialects.
I understand. Nonetheless, as Neeson said, the focus of his anger wasn't just THE rapist, but a black person just to come even near him. This sort of feeling is common in all humans. It is not necessarily racism at an overt conscious level, but is intuitive vengeance. I understand it. As a New Yorker, I was not exactly thrilled with Muslims after 9/11. A dark part of me agreed with the bumper stickers on red neck trucks back then: "Kill them all and let Allah sort them all out." But, I knew that was wrong. I knew I could not let that instinct for vengeance take over creating a permanent hatred for them. Nonetheless, I still felt that vengeance/protection instinct to wipe out the monsters so they never due that again. Almost certainly, that's the same instinct that Neeson felt after hearing and feeling the story of his friend being raped by a black guy. That doesn't make him racist but instead reveals a dark part in all of us that raw emotion for heinous experiences can bring out.
So why condemn him if you were worse back in the day?
I didn't condemn him at all. I never condemned him. Like me, having that feeling of instinctive revenge is not good, but it cannot be helped - it's something that we are evolved to do. That said, we need to let our higher brains prevent us from taking action. Unfortunately, some people - especially the young - are too immature to dissociate their raw emotions from their actions. This is why we get young far-right terrorists in the US like the kid who ran over demonstrators in Charlotte.
This is how people like the asker combat ""the PC culture"", any time anyone says/does something even remotely offensive they made it their life mission to defend that person by adding more noise to the situation. It's the best they could do with their ability.
@IlyaTheImpaler The Asker reminds me of that Russian50 guy on GaG.

Not many liberals have the guts to chase down a rapist
