Would Natural Farming be conducive to large scale food security and rural livelihood?
Especially since the union budget-2019, this has faced a lot of criticism due to an exhortation by the present govt to completely shift from the current method of farming since green revolution which involves tremendous use of pesticides, fertilizers, GMO seeds etc to the Natural Farming method in the steps proposed by the renowned Subhash Palekar called Zero Budged Natural Farming (ZBNF) (but not given any guidelines or brought out any policies or specific allocations or committees to actually make it a possibility). However, considering the damage done and hence cost and duration of renewal in addition to a complete lack of support, would it be a feasible option to ensure:
a. Food Security
b. Agricultural Output
c. Adequate Income to the farmer
d. Alleviate the already burgeoning agrarian credit
e. Qualitatively lucrative considering the poor pest and disease management
f. Indeed even end up being close to zero budget considering the starting capital needed for renewal with negligible output for years

etc
