Now that Youtubers won't get money for making content targeted for kids, YouTubers will start making only mature content to not get their pay taken away. This can only lead to mature content flooding YouTube, those unwilling to make mature content not being payed for their job, and kids somehow finding mature content either way, maybe even sooner than they would now.
Yes, everything they said makes sense and I agree with it

I think a lot of stuff aimed at tweens and younger tweens will indicate 'not for kids' to get full revenue. But there's a TON of stuff aimed at like …. under 8 year olds. Those kids aren't getting around parental controls, those kids just want to watch allowed videos and hit from the choices that come up. 10% revenue is the only game in town for them.
If you say your content isn't for kids when it is (or when they think it is based on what was mentioned in the second photo), they'll watch over it and review it. If they find it's actually for kids (or as mentioned above, looks like it's for kids) they can fine you a lot of money. No one's safe anymore.

I think everything will be up and down because YouTube and influencers is a constantly changing platform. They also want to protect children but it’s difficult to know how. This may eventually change or be modified. At this point people can barely say anything on YouTube so things are getting weird.
I completely agree. Almost nobody's on board with anything they're doing, so I'm glad they're at least letting people share their opinion on it and seeing what they have to say. We still have a chance! :)
