it makes me think they are working together to get him a second term
@Sevenpointfive Yep! Reaching across the aisle!
did you see that women are apologizing and men are gifting trump? i don't know what that was about but i am curious
@Sevenpointfive No I did not... do have any more info?
i don't know any more other than it was democrats
Vote for Tulsi in the primary. Her policies appeal to American across the political spectrum.
Instructing the director of the FBI to make an investigation "go away", is not a political opinion.Withholding aid granted by Congress, to a foreign country, in return for a personal favor to aid in an election campaign... under the guise of rooting out corruption... is not a political opinion.Using executive privilege to undermine due process... is not a political opinion.Re-routing money earmarked for aid to hurricane devastated territories is indeed, an abuse of power. Constant fabrication of "facts" while denying actual, documented ones, is mental incompetency and demonstrates the inability to carry out the duties of one's office. And the list goes on forever. I agree the government of this country was a joke before Trump arrived. I didn't think the bar could be lowered beneath Cheney. Or Boehner. Or McConnell. I was wrong. Trump has done it.
@loveslongnails Do you whip down your keyboard after telling all those lies?
I was with you till your last paragraph. Our nation is the leader of the world. We have our hands in so many pockets the average person could never even keep count.Government is like making sausage. Don't ask what's in it unless you want to get sick. The impeachment of Trump is the most obvious "Abuse of Power" case by the democrats that I've seen in my lifetime. For my two cents, Trump is building the wall in the wrong place. We need to decide on a border within the USA and all democrats should be given their own country to destroy and get the f away from us. Burn it to the ground if you like. Then once you're all dead or finally concede that you are too ignorant to run anything, we Americans can take it back from the Chinese or whoever you sold you out too.
Gotcha you are right. He resigned before they could.
Yeah. Common mistake people forget he Resigned, which made him actually one of the better Presidents, he really did Care about this Nation, he knew he got caught and unlike so many instead he Resigned, didn't Fight it, Lie, Waste Taxpayers Dollars he Took like a Leader!!! Unlike the Moron in Office today and the last one Impeached bith have such Big Egos, but you know what they say Big Ego Amoeba Size Penis...
Yep that's right. 😂😂
Thank you for MHO.

"I would rather him be defeated by Bernie than impeached."That would be more likely to happen if the Republicans weren't cheating again.
Actually in the United States he can tried under the state of New York. And in our nation the state and federal govts are separate entities so if the try him after he is out of office for the fraud in his charities he can go to state prison.
Unaffiliated voter here. I agree with you.
The vote was extremely partisan... No Republicans voted yes and only 3 Democrats voted no...
Oh. Republicans aren't a real political party. They are a band of pirates who have only the goal of looting the tax coffers. Pretending to be politicians has merely proven to be the most expedient way to accomplish that goal. But everything they say or do doesn't really qualify as representative of conservatives - it's just part of the pretense they have to keep up in order to remain in the position they need to keep grabbing the money.
Alright I was hearing you before, but you seem to be a bit more on the radical side at this point
Eh. How radical something sounds doesn't change whether or not it's accurate. This is, in fact, the simplest explanation I can come up with for the intentional lack of integrity from republicans. Believing they are actually genuine but somehow managed to avoid seeing the evidence is actually much more complicated and difficult to believe.
I'm a trump supporter but I can still have fun with it.
Ahah no worries. Me too
That's like saying you really love your husband, but then you pass out pictures of him passed out drunk in the nude. You're not being honest. Actions prove who you are, not words. #LIAR
@JimmyQ Learn how to take a joke holy shit lol
@TonyBologna25 Your jokes are not funny. Learn how to take a vacation.
@JimmyQ You're way to triggered to be a trump supporter. You see the best comedy is when we can see the humor in things whether we agree with them or not.And you can't compare my husband to trump. I love my husband. I only support trump. But you can bet I have fun making fun of my husband too just as he likes to do with me. I don't agree with everything Trump does or says. I did vote for him because no way was I gonna let a murdering bitch be our president. And now I'm glad I gave trump a chance because he's done some good for our country. The best way to get through a sucky situation is to find humor in it. If you go through life taking everything so serious you will end up a bitter person. The fact you got triggered by the meme I posted in humor already shows your bitterness.
@TonyBologna25 Thank you for understanding a joke and for trying to get Jimmy Triggered to understand it's a damn joke. Lol!
I’d be surprised but it would be deliciously ironic
A Republican left his party, too.
No sitting president has ever been removed, and it's less likely now than it ever was.
Impeachment is the process by which a legislative body levels charges against a government official. Impeachment does not in itself remove the official definitively from office; it is similar to an indictment in criminal law, and thus it is essentially the statement of charges against the official.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Impeachment
I think if he is removed by the senate, the position goes to the house of rep speaker which is Nancy.
@Randomawkwardness it should be the vice president actually.
Then it's the vice
Being impeached by the House is only the first of two steps. Next is a trial in the Senate where a 2 / 3-majority vote is required to remove him. Since the Senate is controlled by Republicans, it is very unlikely that he will be removed.
@Ram0n83 So what you're saying... is longer still?
Correct.Being impeached is like saying that he has been indicted. He is still afforded a trial. That trial will be heard by a mostly-Republican jury. They are not likely to vote to convict (remove) him.
@Ram0n83 Amusing as hell how you guys have special rules ensuring that a criminal in the top seat can stay there if he can schmooze enough
It's not over. The senate has to hold a trial now, which is what Trump wanted all along.
@Kiran_Yagami Is that like when Hillary got foreign governments to interfere in the election so that she would lose and be in a position to impeach Trump three years later? He did not want to be impeached, not at all.
He was impeached by the house of Representatives. Now the vote goes to the Senate.
It is kind of like being a little pregnant!
