I totally disagree. The impeachment is really about the methodical destruction of the democratic process and the attempt to disregard certain laws and principles that it is based on. If these laws need to be changed, or tweaked, and the principles are to be re-examined, it must not be done by one man, or a group of aging men, or women, with megalomaniac tendencies and zero ethics. That encompasses a great many past leaders and elected officials, true enough, and still does. Looking at Trump's body of work, in depth if you dare, you can see a real pattern of power abuse, skirting the law, flat out disregarding the law, and moral turpitude. And we haven't GOT to the outright lying yet. All of this is a complete disregard for his oath to "defend" the Constitution. He's trying to destroy it... it's not rocket science.

I believe that you have accurately, and aptly, stated the case
Thanks, but it saddens me that this is where we find ourselves, after so many , through the centuries have given their all for this country, the sacrifices by so many, the founders painstakingly crafting a system of governing that’s has survived for two and a half centuries, only to be destroyed by power mad subhumans like these democrats... it’s just not right.
Making fools of themselves*
Can you prove that he did nothing?
We have a system of innocent until proven guilty, but people like you dont even want to have a trial, you don't want to give democrats the chance to prove that he is guilty. Do you hate justice?
He did the stuff. At least half of it's been confirmed. He hasen't been accused of any actual crimes, or what constitutional law experts call "criminal like conduct". Obstruction of congress is something he and almost every other president has don as part of their official duty.
@meesegoMoo What, EXACTLY, did he do? Suggest some things? imply some rewards? What "High Crimes' did he supposedly really do?I think the Democrats just screwed the pooch, and lost 2020 for president.Trump is going to get off, and it is just making the Democraps, look like petty idiots!
Can you give an example of democrats dismissing the constitution and acting like it doesn't matter? Cause I seem to remember republicans trying to impeach Clinton for getting a blowjob, and the constitution doesn't even say anything against that.Tbh though, I agree that impeachment hasn't taught anyone very much, which is because they decided to focus solely on the issue of Ukrainian corruption.
Then why even reply? Who cares if you don’t know or care about a certain topic? Why not do what most courteous users do and just scroll on to the next question? Why say anything , when you’re saying nothing?
Yeah it’s hard, especially at such an advanced age. You’re possibly the most experienced watcher of impeachments alive...
It's completely legal as long as he doesn't get impeached. America has very few anti-waste laws. Tens of millions isn't that much money in the long run.
@meesegoMoo there has been no crime committed thus an illegal impeachment
The only time a crime or "criminal like conduct" are required is for a president to actually be impeached and removed. Trials only require an accusation, not necessarily an accusation of a crime.
@goodlongman lol is that like an illegal trial? Dude, impeachment os meant to figure out whether or not he is guilty. Also, how do you know that no crime was committed?
@devilman666 He knows because no criminal charge is being brought forward. If he had a speeding ticket it would make for a better case. The idea here is to prove "criminal-like conduct", which does not require a crime actually be committed. They said they would impeach if he got elected, then while he was being sworn in. The presidents staff are supposed to keep him from committing actual crimes, which they did. Democrats expected him to slip up quicker, but with the election coming up they no longer had time to wait for an actual criminal offense, hence the "criminal-like conduct" search. We had no code of law when the process was created, hence the standard does not require a sitting president to actually break any law to be impeached.
@meesegoMoo "The House Judiciary Committee released a 658-page report on the articles of impeachment... It specifies criminal bribery and wire fraud charges as part of the abuse of power article." en.wikipedia.org/.../Impeachment_of_Donald_TrumpThere's also the GAO that said withholding the aid for so long, and without notifying Congress, was illegal. (And Turley agreed.)
I hope you're wrong!
Isn’t that fun? Hating someone? You love to hate, it seems, I wonder why? Is hating the president get you Off? It’s a sincere question?
Srry, but me no speakie? Wtf does that mean?😐😐
@girther10 since when is it wrong to hate people? I hate Vladamir Putin, Xi Jinping, and Nicolás Maduro, does that make me a bad person?
I don’t give Wikipedia any credit at all, I don’t read it, it has no integrity. There’s a reason it cannot be used in college research papers. And yes it’s always been wrong to hate. I never said she is a bad person for hating Trump, stop putting words in my mouth. I asked her if she’s happy hating people.
@Girther10 Yes, it is not an official source and can't be used in college, and you have to take it with a grain of salt, but wikipedia is actually very useful for learning about things. She probably is happy, I dont see why hating one person would ruin her happiness. It's ALWAYS wrong to hate? Is ot wrong to hate dictators? Is it wrong to hate Hitler?
