i think thats prudent especially when the actual mode of transport is in itself the biggest risk along with the time in the airport... as yet i think its still ok for me to drive across Europe so thankfully my travel plans shouldn't be impacted but if i wasn't driving i would be haveing serious second thoughts on that
@wankiam Yeah, there's an increasing number of borders been shut down today, and it won't surprise anybody if this spreads. I'd prefer not to be marooned in North Africa, and it does feel like that could potentially happen. I notice Ukraine today announced that it isn't allowing any foreign nationals in at all for the next couple of weeks, although if you're there, you're free to leave.
my bet would be that its old news by June but im not a gambling man so i just live in hope
@wankiam I think there will be much more clarity by then, too.
and a lot of cheap flights to get people travelling again so you never know, it might even save you a few quid
yeah, it sucks not getting to go on your trip. But there will be another chance. Just don't give up on your dreams. When the time is right, I'm confident you'll get your chance to travel. Nothing to feel bad about right now. By not going, you're helping make the world a safer place; quite literally. So you're kind of like a super hero. :P
Is also your trip got cancelled?
not yet since i drive from the uk to bulgaria... as far as im aware the ferries will still be sailing and i might have a small delay at the various borders en route but thats sometimes the case anyway since brexshit and having gb plates on my mercedes
