Not to mention that it took us by surprise and we don't know much about it. We don't know how it will affect us over time. Also, if some people will be left with pulmonar scars - ta-dam - an increased number of chronic patients that will need healthcare for life
@peachyknees Good point. Next year we should have a vaccine hopefully.
It will kill more than what the CDC is projecting. They ignored the WHO's recommendations. I hate the WHO because they're the assholes who let it become a pandemic in the first place. BUT there are SOME people in the WHO trying to do the right thing now. It's not about their pride anymore..

This is exactly what has happened in Italy and will happen here. The key is to have enough provisions for self-care at home (ibuprofen, nyquil, electrolytes i. e. pedialyte) and take care of yourself without becoming a larger part of the problem. If you are not at high-risk and you contract COVID-19, stay at home, treat yourself, watch netflix, and ride it out.
@KrakenAttackin It's starting to appear that using anti-fever medications when you have the virus is actually increasing the number of deaths.
@October808 Really? I was not aware of that? Do you know what the correlation is?
@KrakenAttackin From this morning.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EuWo5lmWuZI
Also I have to correct myself. It's anti-flammatories.
@KrakenAttackin Yeah. I just watched part of that Event 201 Pandemic Exercise from October 2019. It showed how dis-organzed and unprepared the world was for a pandemic. Which is playing out now. Vaccine makers were shown to be selfish. They won't feel like helping unless there is a benefit for them.
@October808 Wow, thanks for posting!
Some studies have shown it is 30 up to 60 times more deadly than the flu.
@peachyknees Right. The influenza mortality rate is 0.1%, if COVID-19 has a 3% mortality rate this would make it 30x more lethal than the flu.
@peachyknees @KrakenAttackin when the influenza virus was a relatively new one that was quite a devasting virus.. but like any contagion it is lethal until there are measures or vaccines in place to counter it... this will be no different until vaccines are in place and effectively distributed to where it is needed
I completely agree.
@KrakenAttackin It's 6.6% in Italy and rising.
@October808 Seriously? That is amazing and awful.
You can see the car.
That's false. Totally false. There were Pandemic people in the White House who were simply sent back to CDC. The liberal media is just chomping at the bit to blame Trump for this pandemic. Laughable.
@KrakenAttackin 😂😂you are right your statement is laughable
OK, you can choose to just be another drone of the left wing. I am sure MSNBC will be sending out "Trump Lied, People Died" bumper stickers soon.
Bullshit earth is clearly a triangle
@Mikemarston30 That's only because Alex Jones is so strong and smart.
First, influenza is pretty bad even though we have a vaccine for it. We have nothing for COVID-19, and this will kill a lot of older people in the U. S.
PossiblyHow are you quantifying a lotA set number or fatality percentage compared to some other diseaseAnd again as you said it will mostly be older or other already compromised people, in that regard it's as dangerous as them contracting any other flu pneumonia etc
I quantified projected fatalities above.
