There's a sort of inverse beteeen buponic plegue and corinvirus. We know a lot about the societal impact of buponic plage bit as yest we don't know the impact of coronovirus. We know nothing conclusive about what plague actual was, in terms of isolating the virus where as we do for coronovirus
And also where I live there’s squirrels constantly testing positive for it

Incorrect, bubonic plague, aka black death, was a baterial infection that was transmitted by the parasitic fleas that typically attached themselves to rats.
We actually still have some cases today.
Like hell it would only make us stronger, people would be dying left and right, if it doesn't kill us we won't be stronger, we'll be lucky
@fantabulousfemale weak would die only strong genetics will live. I think he meant
If that's what you think , ok! But scientific evidence proves if we were to survive, it means our immune system has evolved, combated and won over said virus, plague and or disease ! In essence, we've become stronger, lucky us !
Thank you, miss Lexy , indeed !
Yep... survival of the fittest is natures way for everything else
Indeed! Thank you!
Thank God I'm tall lol
LoL, and very attractive, !
Re: update - Do you know the purpose of the plague mask? They were worn by "plague doctors" and the beak would be stuffed with fragrant herbs. People correctly understood that there was a link between foul odours and illness/death but at the time, they incorrectly thought that "bad air" (miasma) was the literal cause or infective agent. I suppose they are quite odd in appearance and the fear associated with the mask is reinforced by the fact that if you needed a plague doctor, you were gravely ill, and there was not much they could really do. It doesn't help that they look a bit like a raven or crow, birds known for feasting on carrion and corpses. I wonder if they were intentionally designed to look fearsome rather than reassuring, in order to prevent people wanting to approach them.
Freaking out is one of their things.
Tell me about it... i live in SF... one of their brewing grounds
And yet 10x as bad as the flu you claim it is.
For those who do not have a good immune system, it may be lethal. For those who have a good immune system, they will be fine.An article recently came out about how New York was infected, but thought it was just the "flu." Although it is still affected, no one has perished. The media is allowing us to recognize this pandemic, so we as a human race can end it as soon as possible.
Five people have died in NYC. www.BBC.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-51902681There aren't that many cases, yet, and you don't catch it and drop dead immediately, it takes a little while.
Well, all I will say is I'm taking care of myself. Stopping to worry does not provide progress. If it is the end, enjoy what you have. To sit there and feel sorry for yourself is another form of giving up. All we have as a human race is hope.I'm not here to argue about this. Just gave an opinion to the asker.
Uh no, the flu has a far, far lower mortality rate
@tartaarsaus thank you

oh i understand.. it sucks but its just idiotic fearmongering panic on the part of media.
