It’s not a “common flu” sweetheart.
@Gisellebabe1111 it is a common flu as flus are common and flus change cause they evolve. even if there was a flu with a 100% mortality rate it would still be a common flu. Flus come in waves and they happen regularly. That's why it's called common. It is only "uncommon" to the layman's eye.
@Gisellebabe1111 a bad disease can not allow society to establish totalitarian regime laws. That is the real issue. Because next time those regulations are concomitant for politicians, they will abuse them, if we let them get away with it. That's exactly how Hitler got his power.
Convenient not concomitant***
Whatever it is, the human body has none to little defense to it, hence why it’s killing people
@Gisellebabe1111 the body has very good defense for it, that's why the people who die to it are the elderly or those with bad conditions and immune weakness.
Dying to it is less likely than dying in a car accident. Because if you don't have bad conditions or a weakened immune system, you're generally not likely to die to it. Yet you still drive your car every day, don't you?
And yet the common flu doesn’t kill the elderly and people with a weak immune system?
@Gisellebabe1111 yes it does exactly that too. the only difference is that this iteration of the common flu is more infectious. but the danger for the individual is exactly the same.
Then why do people not die from the common flu?
They always find a way to fight it off even the elderly and people with a weak immune system?
@Gisellebabe1111 they do. 12.000 to 60.000 people die to flus in the USA alone every year.
I don’t know. Seems like people are dying from this at a way faster rate
@Gisellebabe1111 it's funny, cause every time there's a new variety of the common flu, we create a vaccine. people die to flus still, cause the vaccination isn't compulsory and people just don't get vaxxed... and with this one suddenly everyone falls into zombie apocalypse mode, when they didn't even give a shit about death from the other varieties of the common flu that are still around and can still kill you.
@Gisellebabe1111 there are a few more deaths, cause this variety of the common flu is more infectious. nevertheless, we know this. it is common. it is not some sort of shockingly new disease nobody ever saw before. it is a flu. flus are dangerous. this one is above average in comparison with previous flus.
a friend of mine a few years back was young and healthy. he got the flu and he still developed a pneumonia and had to spend a few weeks in intensive care, fighting for his live. flus are inherently not a joke. it is unlikely to get that ill but they are that dangerous. they have always been. that isn't new.
I feel the same way, my job has about 1200 people in the factory so now we are all segregated and making sure we are at least 1.5m away at all times.

So then it’s up to people to initiate it themselves.
@Gisellebabe1111 Most are.
Definitely 😂 apart from the occasional guy spamming you with messages wanting to hook up!
@Fergus618 I've bumped into two of those already :(
I always apologize for my fellow guys behaviour 😂
Just causal conversations are the best 😏
@Fergus618 I agree! :)
@Fergus618 May the casuals outweigh the hookup people!
It's super awkward when that happens, damn it GUYS
Locked down with family?
Handling best I can , this does suck as much as I keep telling myself I shouldn’t be complaining considering I am able to work from home for the most part , but the whole thing sucks cuz my whole routine is so out of wack right now and trying to get myself on a new routine hasn’t been easy I catch myself sitting around more then being active so my ass is probably going to put on some pounds cuz I really have no motivation being locked up on my house for the most part , I need a haircut and I need to practice safe distancing from my kitchen lol
Why so? All alone?
I think it’s a natural response tbh
