Its not really but you seem to be. ;)
How in the world were you able to draw that conclusion from seeing a single statement I made as a JOKE?
I said "seem" reading comprehension is a must if you're going to be a factious "jokester"
It doesn’t matter what word you used, the accusation was still there. Calling me facetious is fair, but implying I’m racist for that is kind of ridiculous.
Well if it don't apply let it fly so stop @ me
I haven’t actually @ you this entire conversation 😳 But just because you told me not to..@FGaines18

White people are doing the same thing though having parties during this.
Not at the frequently those in the hood are. Most are doing drive by honking, facetime and staying in.
If you are Being responsible and staying at home then how do you know who is doing what and more of it?
@VIVANT well African American politicians are reporting the difference in the covid figures as is the media
Plus there are legit videos of those in the good havingbbloxk parties and throwing cops out of their neighboord for the curfew. My friend was at a party in Chicago as well. He was texting me during it.
There are white people acting like idiots as well a lot of them.
4. Oh, let add, there also is no focus on care about the community as a whole, even from within. I was on the phone arguing with the local hospital near me a couple of weeks ago. I wanted to get tested or at least looked at. They refused to see me. But I have healthcare insurance, so I called another hospital and arranged for a visit.
Most people who have diabetes have it not due to genetics, same as obesity its self inflicted
type 2 diabetes is self-inflicted, type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease where your body destroys the cells in the pancreas which produce insulin this is usually genetic as is runs in families,
People of Black African origin are up to three times more likely to develop Type 2 diabetes than people of White European origin. In addition, some of the features of Type 2 diabetes differ slightly in people of Black African origin. For example, cases of Type 2 in this ethnic group are less closely linked to levels of fat around the waist and high blood cholesterol levels than in people of White European origin.
Yea but some people get type 2 diabetes who are thin just because it runs in the family.
isn't it racist to assume a person is poor and religious due to the color of their skin
Not really, no. It's statistics, in USA the average poverty rate is 13.4%, with African Americans it jumps to 23%. To be fair they aren't the worst off of all groups in America, disabled people are over 25% poverty rate, but they are more likely to be in poverty than most. As for religion, 79% of black americans are christian where as white americans are 70%. Not a huge difference but black people are statistically more likely to be religious and more likely to be Christian specifically.People in poverty obviously are more harshly affected by this, but religion affects them because of propoganda. Many people are still going to church, they're potentially spreading covid-19, and their excuse is that Jesus will protect them from the virus. There is a reason why synagogues have been the hotspot in Israel, and it's not because God is punishing them, or because they are inferior, it's because religious people listen to these delusional ideas and believe them, and it causes them to engage in risky behaviour.
You clearly don't understand how systemic racism works. Let's say you're in poverty your father ran off, raised by a single mother, now you're 22, living on your own, barely getting by on a minimum wage job because you can't afford to go to college or university. Suddenly a pandemic hits, you lose your job, you don't have much money saved because you're already constantly struggling to just have enough to survive, you can't pay your rent and you know that once the pandemic ends you'll be homeless. So you try to find work, any way to make money to ensure you can survive, but then you get sick.I don't know if I would label it racism, but I think the circumstances that a lot of black people are born into makes it harder for them to get through this.
Yes, you are correct.. its sad to say but another of minorities refuse to listen to anything scientific, political, or educational. I have friends n family members who have said the same dumb things n its annoying. Poverty n health issues are also higher in the black community. This virus attacks people with compromised health issues... but I guarantee someone ignorant is going to say, this virus is a ploy to kill off Black people 🙄
Score one for public education system... ye... ah...
