Are you disturbed by the fun 'depression' trend on the internet?

My dad has manic depression and growing up with it is sometimes a living hell.

He was abusive, alcoholic, and very self obsessed.
I had dreams of him boiling my mother in a stew.
I had dreams of having two different dads.

We moved out into the country for his mental health. We had to live on the property of friends for a short time. It was really hard. After a few months of dad being completely numb
he had this massive panic that surged through all of us... like "We have to get away from here and go somewhere and we have to go now" So without a house we moved to the country at breakneck speed when i was 10.

It can be really bad.

At 10 years old I had 'secondhand blues' which was scary for someone so young.

I feel like people online are sometimes being really self absorbed. Depression is not 'melancholy' . Internet people seem to be confusing depression with having a good time. They seem to be confusing depression with chilling out and having fun... are they stupid?

It is very much something you should avoid like the plague.
