Whenever anyone dies, their obituary is almost always filled with positive kudos, as if they were the best person that ever lived. In most cases, the person was an average person and in some cases, they were a bad person. But that doesn't stop their obituary from praising them.

To be perfectly honest Paris. I can't say I've ever noticed.. I mean if I read about someone dying or being murdered I think what a terrible loss of life and don't dwell on the photo.

It's been quite a few years now since I stopped watching the news, so I have to ask- do they do that for Betty White? Of all the praise I imagine she got, I wouldn't've guessed THAT.

I never noticed but I guess that most of the obit pix I have seen are very presentable for the women. Guys sometimes just have some random picture that was taken.

Their descriptions are typically laced with hyperbole.
