I HATE NAIL POLISH! Is it really a big turn on? Can unpolished nails decrease your attraction to a sexy woman? MEN OPINIONS ARE APPRECIATED?

Im a 23 years old girl, Im not a tomboy at all in case you are wondering, Im feminine, and I take care of my manners, skin, hair.. I just hate nail polish. It makes me angry. It doesn't dry fast, I don't have time to wait for about an hour at home for my nails to dry, and usually, the result is not good. Even at salons, the same problem. I know it is a big turn on for men.. do you really notice it first? I care about girls and guys opinions specially men above 26. Thank you :)

  • It's not a big deal. I'd rather a girl didn't wear it, so she's willing to take part in some of the things I like to do. But I like to take my girls fishing, shooting, camping, etc. Her being worried about chipping her nail polish will kill all the fun.

    If we're just hanging out in town, watching a movie or just chillin or whatever, sure, wear some, great. It's not a big thing for me.

  • I like nail polish but I don't wear it because it doesn't last, it's too bothersome to spend a lot of time in painting and drying to just get a mess in a few days or even hours :(
    Sometimes I use the transparent one. I care to keep my nails clean and cut. ;)

    Also, there's a joke here that says there are three birth control methods: pills, IUD and those silly stuff in nails (more likely: animal print).

  • My boyfriend is turned on by French manicure. I do them for him once a while.
    Otherwise at home I use fast drying formula.2 min and I'm out the door. Essence and flormar nail polishes dries super fast if you want to try. I use one coat only.

    • essence is good yes. what colors do you use? i love french but it is accurate a bit. im thinking to do it with a shiner instead of light white color.

    • French takes tons of time to do but once a while it's fine. Sometimes I do stamped tips instead of drawing them. It's super fast! My favourite from essence is #12 mandarine bay But I'll stand in their isle forever to pick a new one every single time😁

  • There's like 60 second dry nail polish. It's not that hard. If you put a layer of glitter on top of the paint it will even hide all the mistakes you make.

    • Thank you! and you are so right about expensive and low cost brands! if you have ever heard of essence brand.. it is a low price brand but it dries quickly and last well..

  • I usually keep them natural. By natural, I use a nail file to keep them neat and buff. I use apricot oil to make the nails shiney.

  • I hate nail polish too and always have. I think guys just prefer that you take care of your nails and they don't look like a mess. That doesn't mean they have to have nail polish on them.

  • Nail polish is one of those things that guys notice when you have it, never notice when you don't have it. It's not a big deal. It certainly isn't a turn on, it just looks nice sometimes. Don't worry about it

    • IT DEPENDS. I KNOW SOME VERY SPECIAL INTELLECTUAL LADIES WHO ALWAYS TAKE CARE OF THEIR NAILS. BUT PERSONALLY I DEAL WITH KIDS, I DO HOUSEWORK, I AM MAJORED IN POLITICS.. NO TIME AT ALL TO WAIT FOR NAILPOLISH I BARELY HAVE TIME TO PUT MAKEUP!

  • I could care less about nails... but I will say I notice well done and colorful ones. Something about imagining them running over my body- they do feel good...

    So its not a negative to have poor nails, but having them can be a plus.

  • Men don't care about nail polish at all. It's a female thing, not something that attracts men. Men, however, do like soft hands that are well taken care of. So as long as you take care of your skin and keep your nails looking healthy, you're good.

    • Omg me too! I can't take it when I see people's nail polish all peeling. I always make sure mine isn't cracking and then I repaint over it.

  • Just keep your nails clean, healthy, and shaped. I hate polish because it chips too damn fast lol. If I get anything it's gel and I love my nails too much to do that to them too much
