I've been told best anal position is not behind her like in doggie, but girl on her back with pillow under her lower back elevating her ass. Is there a great anal position that feels better than the others?

I personally think it is best to face your partner, so that you can see each others eyes, whether with a guy or girl you should make sure that they are very excited first, lubricated, preferably had an enema a while before, and that they are totally relaxed. Their legs under your armpits opens them up, but allows you to go deeper, so take your time. Then it should be good for both of you

Doggy is bad for anal beginners especially. It's too deep - for vaginal sex, that's good, but for anal sex it can be extremely uncomfortable. Go for either spooning (this position naturally opens up the body better, it's why doctors put you in that position for an anal exam) or with her on her back with the pillow under her ass.
