Who agrees that casual nudity has been over sexualised?

Casual nudity or platonic nudity has been over sexualised in the current world. Specially the female form. For example, how many nude males do you see on screen as compared to females?
And most of the credit goes to the media and lack of proper sex education.
A classic example is Sending dick pics. A full nude is much better in my opinion.
I would really like to know your opinions over this.

If your focus is on the media, then yes. This is because viewership is translated to $$$ and is what the Producers are after.

But why nude females and not males?

As some already answered, women are not that interested to see nude man's body.

On the other hand, our (male) brain is wired to enjoy nude female bodies.

Call it instinct, call it chemicals, etc. These all points to a trait in healthy straight men: that we just like naked female bodies.

Don't ask why. It's analogous to why we like to watch car race in action pack movies? Why we like to watch explosions? Why Kung Fu in Shang Chi raise our testosterone? We simply have no answer.

But it's true. The above examples made millions, even hundreds of millions for every movies with those stunts.

And yes, female nudity capture half the earth's populations attention and is big $$$.

Yes I agree. And yes, it is sexualized because somehow, we (the males) are made to like naked women's bodies.

Women aren't as attracted to men as men are attracted to women. If women actually wanted male nudity they would get it easily. But women typically don't care about men sexually. They tend to say things like "I get sexually attracted to a man after I get to know their personality" but that's completely different. Men don't consume sexually charged media because of the woman's personality. The reason why it's easier to put naked women in movies than naked men is because more people are visually attracted to women than men. By a long shot.

I was always taught that nudity was normal and natural and never to be ashamed of.

I touched on some of that in a mytake I did awhile back.

People that think someone being naked should be sexualized is messed up in the head. I know a lot think that way, there are cases of people reporting others for child porn simply for taking pictures of their kids in the tub playing with toys.

Dick pics are not worth it, whole body is far better. As for on the screen, I see lots of boobs and butts on women, but kind of the same for guys, topless and butts. I do not really watch TV/Movies though.

The human body naked is on the whole not a sexual thing.

it’s just flesh with stuff hanging off it.

I’ve been to enough nudist beaches and camps that the naked body is just background noise.

for example breast feeding, it’s simply a baby getting fed, breasts are not sex objects in this case.

To me context is key to it, there needs to be some sexual input to make those body parts sexual

I grew up nudist I never understood it because I always saw it as two completely different things. Seeing someone nude does nothing for me. Seeing someone having sex or masturbating instantly gets me hard.

Being that nudity is a big part of sex, I think it's appropriately sexualized. Media has more females nude on screen because it makes more money than male nudity. Women don't tend to spend a lot of money on the entertainment industry, so the entertainment industry does not bother much with courting female consumers. Though an argument could be made that if the entertainment industry did court female consumers, then there would be more.
