Which gender can function better through a prolonged absence of sex?

Which gender, men or women, can live normally going several years without sex?

I'm not leaving a fence-sitting option here, so just say which one you think handles involuntary celibacy better. Otherwise, you just won't be able to see the results.

I would think women (rarely being horny on the level of men and generally have very low libidos compared to average men) would easily be the ones who could go longer without sex, no problem.

Then again, almost any woman can get sex easily, at any given time. Meanwhile, many short/overweight/unattractive men often go years without sex, so it seems like they can function better with out (due to lack of choice) as well.

  • Women are the gatekeepers of sex. And often say no. Because if they said yes they'd be the ones allowing men to get away with cheating.

As you said, men don't have a choice. They have to wait until the woman allows sex to happen. Personally I'm celibate. I'm a virgin by choice. I find sexual intercourse repulsive. I know most men aren't like me, but they do have to keep themselves occupied long enough for a woman to actually say yes.

And when they do, there's the issue of consent and even if she consents she can get away with regretting it the next day and claim rape. Like I said, women are th gatekeepers of sex. They flaunt and taunt men on things like tiktok and onlyfans to get them riled up and wanting sex. Then they don't get it and are considered incels. It's a vicious cycle. Good thing I'm celibate and couldn't give a rats fat ass about sex

  • Females are almost never (unless forcefully through hideousness or age) not having sex with someone.
If they do they become frigid and angry.

Men actually become more productive and succeed more without a female cluttering his mind with the bullshit that comes with pussy.

    • . Women literally use sex constantly and need male attention to feel validated.

    • I'm not having sex with anyone right now. If I don't want casual meaningless sex does that mean I'm going to become frigid and angry? I actually feel like casual meaningless sex would make me feel cheap and insecure so maybe frigid and angry is better?

  • I was about to choose B women when I saw your narrowed scope of "involuntary celibacy".

Historically, nuns has shown that their "voluntary celibacy" fare better than monks. And more nuns kept their vows better.

This criteria speaks volumes of mankind's strong desire for sex, of both genders.

Now, take away the vow, but add the "involuntary" aspect (due to physical issues).

"Fare better" covers a wide range of psychological aspects.

Some smile and appears happy, but bitter at heart all the times.

Others express their emotions in words. Some days truly happy, other days truly sad.

Yet others are truly contented with life, but doesn't talk much about their private life.

I dare say the shades are like fingerprints, uniquely individual.

    Hence I didn't vote.

Under your scope of "involuntary celibacy", I think has a range so wide for both genders, that even at different days, the passing of time, and maturity of life, both genders view of sex changes.

Even during puberty, post puberty, pre- post- menopause for girls all affects their desire and hence craving for sex. These factors affect their ability to "fare better" or otherwise compared to the order gender.

Ya "involuntary celibacy" changes the entire argument and made it so difficult to vote.

  • I think it is women because most women don't have the need to masturbate as often as men do. At least that is what I have noticed :)

  • Women for sure lol

  • Since you mentioned word involuntary I have to say woman 100%, but if it is voluntary, man wins 1000% If we don't use it, we lose most if not all of our ability. Our brain would go to it's dormant state, since our testosterone level would go down dramatically, ones it happens neither body nor brain wants to have sex anymore. Plus, excess of old sperm cells will be release through wet dreams. So, unless you would turn the machine back on, it will stay off for a very VERY long time. I'm giving you this comment, because I have a hands on experience lol. Proud member of M. G. T. O. W.

  • Females.

  • Woman

  • Women... Men have indeed a higher need to release for many reasons. But as a girl with high sex drive, I keep saying all rules have an exception.

  • Women for sure.

  • Yeah, I do think it is annoying, at least if everyone is going to be promiscuous, or in a longer-term thing, whatever it is, that men and women should be around equally partnered and having sex life.

  • Men lol

  • Whoever is ugly enough to not get a partner like me 28 years on the planet earth haven't even smelled a women's scent in a romantic way

  • To a woman extended celibacy means two weeks

  • Women can get sex easily, and the female sex drive is very low compared to men's sex drive, and most women are queer. I'd say, women.
