Does smell make a big difference to you in feeling sexually attracted to someone?

I personally find that smell makes a massive difference in how attracted I feel to a guy. Every time I get feelings for a guy, I start loving their natural body odour & I feel really turned on by how they smell. Same goes for if they usually wear the same cologne & I get used to it as their usual smell. Sometimes I even feel like if the guy I currently love smelt different, I wouldn't feel as sexually attracted to him as I do now. Is that normal? is smell supposed to play that much of an important role in terms of attraction?

  • Quite a huge one for me, although I sometimes wonder which came first. If I became attracted to her in part because of the way she smelled or if I liked the way she smelled because I was attracted. It's kind of a blur but if her body is pleasing to my nose, I think that's even more attractive than to my eyes.

  • yes, it is hard to get in the mood if she stinks. I dated somebody that used a certain perfume that I liked and I am not a fan of perfume. I would smell it in my car during the week and get all excited.
