Ok so yeah, girls cheat too but c'mon. Guys are practically KNOWN for it. So I'm just gonna ask the age-old question. Why do guys cheat? As in, what's going on through their minds? Even when they have a great girl, fun, nice, not bossy, willing to fool around etc. They always have to have something on the side. What's up with that?
Look at your list for the great girl! There is your answer. When he has something great and is assured it will always be there he loses appreciation for what he has, and starts to take it for granted. Then all passion is gone and he looks for others. Its simply human behavior, same in both men and women. Just like a girl wanting a nice guy, but always leaves the nice guy!

Guys cheat more (it seems like) because their primal instinct, like caveman times, is to mate with as many females as possible to pass on his legacy and prove he is top dog (as in is able to make most children) thus the human race can survive, its just like animals need to continually mate. But most of that was back in ancient times and as the human race has evolved we no longer practice this and some (less than you think) guys have evolved with the times. But you just can't fight primal urges and primal nature (well you can but that urge is still there for most guys).
I guess this sounds cynical and bias against males but its true its how we are programmed but there are some who have beat the primal psyche and have truly evolved but speaking as a male who was notorious for cheating its very unlikely. I have gotten better and by finding out why I am the way I am I have been able to fight the primal urge but not beat it completely.
For men it's not just a character flaw it's a genetic flaw.
